There are 54 countries in Africa . Education in Africa is the best place? In which country? The children ? they all have access to good schools and universities?
Honestly, after bringing my daughter at age 7 over to the UK, I wish I know what I know now.
The children loose understanding of their African background and you have to raise them under the British cultural values which are completely alien to our African values.
Now in her 20s, she’s entirely Brit.
As immigrant parents, please work out what is important to you for your children.
As much as possible, take them to Africa for frequent visits to enrich their cultural values and knowledge for your own peace of mind in future. Otherwise, know for sure that you have forever lost them to British values. I am writing my book to create awareness for African immigrant parents

Sometime I cried how Nigerians stay outside country and make it home... Is not easy to live outside country.. I have been in prison for over 1yr now.. My wife and 3kids are out there without me being there.. Is just too painful.. All because of greener pasture.. God will help tho..

On the other hand, for me, I would rather forgo the deposit and not go through rigors of cleaning and whole house painting. But with Akanni's body language, it seems that the deposit is a lot and getting it back is gain despite the rigors of cleaning and painting. 😀😜

You will definitely get your deposit back. If the agent refuses, tell them you want to go to the adjudicator. The adjudicator will take into account the length of time you have lived there.

They refused to give u our deposit back in the US because they claimed the house was smelling of food and we didn’t clean the oven. I hope they give you guys back the deposit.

They won’t give you guyzz.. see I cleaned everywhere, my husband painted everywhere. I scrubbed the bathroom and toilet. My husband even said I have never cleaned that way before. Lo and behold. They said they still want to hire professional cleaner. The kitchen is something something.. one is the bulb is not working. Then no battery in the fire alarm. Naso den dey remove my£690 small small.I’m still waiting for balance sha 😂.inshort no put your mind o
We were lucky to get our deposit back less £150 or so for broken freezer drawer and another thing . I asked for the cleaners the agents uses and we got it cleaned professionally so there was no excuse
