You actually gave me the confidence to wear less makeup. I've been doing a cat eye for the past 6 years, and it's hard for me to appreciate the natural shape of my eyes, but I've recently been going out with just mascara and I feel so good.
btw, it's fine when you film close up. I feel like it's easier to understand where you're applying your makeup. Love the look so much! xox

I love how you don't bleach out your features with the ring-light, sometimes when people are doing tutorials they use so much lighting that i can't even see whats going on! You've got that nice warmth coming from the lights behind you, nothings cold and false looking, thanks for keeping it chill.

What's nice about this video is that you look great without makeup but when you put it on it enhances certain features to give you a slightly different look. How makeup should be done :)

I think the camera worked really well Jessica. For the eye tutorial, I did giggle when you said it felt weird just seeing your eyeballs in the window viewer but it was great to really be to see what you did so I thought it worked well. I would love to see a brow-clean-up/maintenance tutorial too. I absolutely love your videos. Do you also vlog? Thanks so much for this fantastic Spring look!
Very Pretty! These Are "My" Shades I Use The Most! Love It! My eyes are big so I never use bottom liner - and because I am older, I don't put "wings" with liner at the edges - that's for the younger ones...but "this" is my daily look - so it was nice to see someone do it...contouring is something I haven't mastered yet, but using the fingers doesn't seem strange to me - being an art major from years ago, and someone who still piddles in the arts, I kinda like using my fingers even though I have soooooo many brushes I always forget to use them. Probably a little OCD in that I like how they look in my bathroom - all the girlie stuff just for show & untouched - ha!

I have the same problem with mascara smudging because of my eye shape and weird cheek bones. I usually don't wear mascara on the bottom lash line either, but when I do, I've found that applying a translucent powder all over my undereye helps loads. I usually take product onto my finger and put it right under my lashes... hope that helps. Btw just discovered you're channel and I'm obsessed.

I love the new camera, it's awesome!! You were a bit insecure about the filming situation, I really like the zoom when you're making the eyes but you were saying that you feel weird talking at the same time while doing it, so what you could do is in those zooming parts you could make a voice over if you feel more comfortable, I love both ways Jess. About the eyebrows, I would love the video because I think it could really help me. I loved this makeup, I'm definitely gonna have to try it 😍😘

Jessica, I just started watching your videos and I think you are so naturally beautiful and sweet and down to earth AND, that comes through on your videos. I don't work now, but am a former freelance makeup artist who owned my own business, therefore an avid makeup tutorial watcher. May I make a few suggestions? Keep being so nice!! I think a lot of people are a little bit tired of the attitude some youtuber's have gotten. Second, the new camera is WAY AWESOME!! Third, you might want to consider doing ONE brow tutorial, then doing them off camera for your makeup looks; kinda shortens the video therefore keeping people's attention better. Lastly, SPEAK UP, lol! We can't hear you very well. GOOD LUCK, you'll do great!!

I was wondering if the Nars tinted moisturizer has ever made your skin break out?
