One thing I know I do is look at things on the hanger and thing 'no, never!' Then see it on and it looks fantastic!!
I'm the same with pattern photos, sometimes they don't sell it but then I see someone else knit it and wear it and I think 'yes! Gorgeous!'

I think I remember reading somewhere that if your bra is a shade darker than your skin tone it won’t show thru your blouse.
