The number of double mastectomies means NOTHING. My young cousin had it done as prevention care against breast cancer. Her mother died and it turned out that all her daughters had the same gene that meant they were likely to get that type of cancer as well. They want to stop transgirls from getting blockers so they develop male secondary sexual characteristics and thus look male so they can justify the burdensome restrictions they want to impose on these kids for the rest of their lives. This point plus their wilful ignorance and in some cases acceptance of the bullying transkids undergoe, highlights the hypocrisy that they don't really care about transkids when they feign outrage regarding trans teens obtaining blockers. They just don't want them to be trans. God does not want my bare minimum. God does not want me to go just one step further than other people. He does not say, “Be good enough.” He does not say, “Be better than most.” He says, “Be perfect.” Of course, it’s hard to shoot for perfection. It is all the harder when you are surrounded by people who are not even trying. The world tells us that there is no such thing as good or bad. All is permissible. Sin is no big deal. Some sins are even laudatory. There is no perfection. But Christ calls us out of that relativistic fog-all the way out. Not to mere acceptability or decency, but to holiness, to sainthood. He will settle for nothing less, so neither can we. Matt Walsh, Church of Cowards: A Wake-Up Call to Complacent Christians As a devout Christian Matt is called upon to do his best in everything he does so if you're saying he could possibly talk so extensively about trans issues and devote so much time and effort to the issue *without* being somewhat of an expert on it, then you don't know Matt Walsh. He's obviously too humble to proclaim his expertise in words, the mere fact he speaks on a subject at length is proof. The only way to say Matt Walsh is not an expert on trans issues is to say Matt Walsh is a liar and a false Christian. As to your second point dear Sweet Baby Gang member, remember Matthew 7:1 and pray for those you see as sinners if you must. Throw a prayer in for yourself though, you seem to be forgetting Romans 14:12-13 , 1 Corinthians 5:12-13.

But you all avoid his actual argument that you should not be butchering confused minors. And if we could also address the fact that it isn't even fucking possible to do that, we would realize that it's obviously not the right thing to do. When a group of people has a higher suicide rate than literal slaves, there's a problem. And affirming their beliefs will not help. Don't even try to say that the suicide rate is because of how they are treated. I assure you, they aren't treated worse than the slaves this country used to subjugate.

Some sins are even laudatory. There is no perfection. But Christ calls us out of that relativistic fog-all the way out. Not to mere acceptability or decency, but to holiness, to sainthood. @@thembo you "hate" children that makes sense.. pro-choice? you people either like killing children or grooming them.... sick individuals
I love this idea that you're a child for exactly 6570 days, and during those 6570 days you don't know anything about anything so your decisions and opinions are irrelevant garbage... BUT THEN, on day 6571, you're an adult and therefore know exactly who you are and the secret to happiness in life! Yes, that's totally my experience too.
You’re misunderstanding. The human brain is under development for approximately that amount of days, it varies to a certain amount but that’s about right. You must not be saying a 7 year old, on AVERAGE, can be as intellectually capable as a 18 year old? You can take the smartest kids against the dumbest adults, sure, but that’s nowhere close to what’s normal for a child that age. The point is that someone who isn’t fully intellectually capable yet shouldn’t be making decisions that will impact their lives forever, because they tend not to fully understand what that means
That's exactly what I think. My kids have been basically little adults since 7th grade. They have their own thoughts, feelings and opinions based on their life experiences that I did not have.
@@Ghost77731 "Approximately" indeed... in the same way 5,000 is approximately millions lol. The human brain is constantly under development. True, as far as I know the amount of neurons seems to increase for a couple of decades (topping out more around 25 than 18, but eh... close enough), then diminish slowly. How one jumps from that observation to a conclusion regarding intelligence, I'm not so sure. Then there's another obvious question: what does intelligence have to do with gender identity anyway?
The longer you've been alive, the more time you've had to accumulate experience and knowledge, and by that same token the more time you've had to be exposed to misinformation and propaganda, so I dunno... kinda seems like a toss-up to me.
@@Ghost77731 The human brain doesn't stop developing until 25 years of age. Also, while there are outliers, the vast majority of trans people don't get any sort of surgery until after 18 because the hospital won't let them unless it's signed off by the parents
Republican Rachel Hamm ran for office because her young son, Ezekiel, supposedly talked to Jesus in her closet. Let that sink in. Republicans don't think children can be trusted to examine their identity. But they can be trusted to choose elected leaders.
All this convo surrounding agency of children is just hilarious to me as a trans woman who was forced to be religious as a child… why doesn’t anyone have this similar issue with religion being pushed and forced onto kids before they’re old enough to choose???
Because you are your parents kids until your 18. I know people forget this but you get to program your own child with your world view in hopes that it will guide them thru their adult life. Im assuming your young by the comment, but trust me when you get older and have kids you will thank them for instilling god in your life. "Both are unnatural because of Biological facts!"
I want to move away from fossil fuels as an energy source because I think it contributes to climate change. I want kids to receive puberty blockers if they want them so they don't develop secondary sex characteristics they don't want. Neither of these stances is contrary to biological facts.
"Sam Seder... gets irate over a misnumbering of how many children are taking chemicals to block a natural development because they "feel" their gender dysphoria says their XX or XY biology dictates how they ought to behave?"
Look, you clearly got irate over what you think is Sam's hypocrisy. Being irate is a normal response to someone actively, unrepentantly misinforming people. Wouldn't it be pretty normal to be irate over someone confidently making up numbers that are off by a factor of 2500? Matt got called out and it happened on Rogan's show in the moment. His documentary is well done, he doesn't present himself as an expert, he travels around challenging the actual experts with a simple question, 'what is a woman?'
This will go down in history with the same shame as the eugenics movement imo. It's lesbian, gay and actual trans kids who are being harmed the most by this refusal to allow objective, balanced debate on an issue that couldn't be more serious. It will set trans rights back for years because the 'experts' are being discredited. The lack of caution that's developed will be fully exposed. The lawsuits filed by detransitioners will likely fix the problem eventually but it's a shame society can't act sooner.
What is a woman? How edgy.
Please consult leading biologists about this issue, they don't like you.

@@jayz8839 You absolutely do need permission to receive proper medical care for a broken bone if you're underage. Especially if that fracture ends up requiring surgery, which some do. When I broke my wrist at 12 my mother had to sign off on the paperwork before they would set the bones and apply a cast. Poorly set fractures and a poorly applied cast can leave what should be something most people heal from as a permanent disfigurement or disability. You need parental permission to receive chemo too. If both were somehow in a coma from an accident, they would wait to do minor surgery on my wrist until they stabilized my parents who somehow became comatose from watching me play football, or a temporary legal guardian would be assigned while my parents were incapable of giving parental consent, like a grandparent or godparent.
You're conflating necessary, lifesaving surgery with elective quality-of-life surgery as if they're the same thing and follow the same rules. They are not and do not, and it's extremely stupid to act like they are and do.
