They didnt buff or nerf anybody, Beside zamasu splitting into more people and goku black becoming immortal. This fight literally went the same way like the anime, just was shrunken down. Vegtio even whoops ass more ( like he should ).

The real intriguing thing about Goku is the other only times he was shown knowing a character needed to die was Cell and Buu with him still making sure he got a chance to fight cell first since he knew he couldn't win and him regrettably killing kid buu. You could argue he had no issue killing Raditz but Raditz was so much stronger there wasn't away around it. Nappa is a great example of what would have likely been the outcome for Raditz if Goku was stronger, he may have aimed to immobilize him or just disable him like Nappa (still cant believe he paralyzed that man legs like that😂).
Z Goku would've 100% would've done that. Give up his turn to end off the enemy. Hell thats what he was telling Gohan to do in the Cell Games. To finish off Cell before he got too desperate.

There’s two things that I still can’t wrap my head around with this arc and the timeline shenanigans. 1) if the Zamasu that took Goku’s body is from the main timeline but jumped over to Trunks timeline, how is Goku still around unless the body Zamasu stole is from another unseen timeline… and also if Zeno is the lord of everything then wouldn’t that like make him omnipotent to where there’s only one version of him regardless of timeline. It would’ve made more sense that when Goku used the button, the same Zeno he knew popped up there since Zeno is over everything. I love this arc especially in the manga but man does the timeline stuff hurt my brain 😂
Good sir allow me to correct you on something, Goku in the Frieza arc was in a situation were he had to choose HIM or FRIEZA, he chose HIM and literally blasted him the second Frieza tried to pull some sh☠️☠️ so it's more accurate to say he FAILED to spare him
It's more like the anime glazed him to compensate for just getting the episodes out while the manga showed the strengths of character of both vegeta and goku, the anime iteration of this arc was mid at best.

Buddy all respect but the anime version of the Zamasu & Tournament of Power Saga are way more interesting. I don't even get how you guys don't think so, those both arcs in the manga looked like the anime version but unfinished and with less interesting moments. Trunks is almost a minor character in the manga, he's far more helpful in the anime and the fights and used techniques are faaaar more dope, the only cool thing in the manga is that Goku Black can become a SS, T.O.P the same, most of the fighters were absolutely useless in the manga, got eliminated freaking offscreen or in mass by one character, while in the anime almost all characters at least had a little spotlight. I love both manga and anime, but these two arcs in the manga are underwhelming af!
