Oh my, why did Obama give the cat that poker face expression? He didn't even touch the cat. Obviously he is not a cat person. I love cats. But that's all right, to each his own.
Cats aren't like dogs they aren't for the most part fond of being petted. At any rate its always best to find out from the cats (or dogs). Human caretaker (slave) if they're friendly or not before petting them. It saves you a trip to the first aid kit & alot of pain.
Larry is known for not liking men, so they probably told Obama as someone Larry isn't familar with to approach with caution (it may be what David Cameron is explaining when he says his a rescue cat being part of the issue).
Instead of saying on behalf of the american government he could have said on behalf of the American people. That would make it more perfect cause I am sure everyone would Larry.
