Right before Jordan cut his finger I was thinking, he's getting a little too excited with all that fish and that knife, and then SLICE. I know that feeling and I've also cut my finger. It just makes the golden crispies taste better😅

Seeing Jordan cut his finger like that instantly took me back to my kitchen days portioning salmon and filleting cod. Instant pain instant flash back lol
Rockfish or thick fishsoup(1ltr of water/1kgr of fish, with potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots and celery) or grilled on hot coals. Halibut buttered from plain flour to heavy beer butter, accompanied by mushed potatoes whisked with olive oil, lot of garlic and vinegar!!!

I fish up there pretty often, it’s great. Lots of fish, beautiful area, just a good time. Can be a little dangerous, so be careful!

Fished there June 29th. Halibut and Lings, 2 1/2 hrs out but calm seas. Never heard of Jordans insta spud recipe. Gotta try it now. Keep it up.

I used to be a king crab fisherman, the way I would make halibut is cut meal size portions remove skins butterfly or make a pocket in the filet, rub mayo’ white pepper, stuff with king crab and fresh Parma, do te same on top of the closed filet topped with green onion bake 375 for about 20 minutes, covered. Crushed ritz crackers all over the top and baked ten more minutes

Butter poached halibut with a thimble berry vinaigrette and dill and tarragon cream sauce is the way to go
