Thanks for voice over giving us the decision making. Best GoHunt original so far. Loved how you organically integrated GoHunt digital tools/maps in there too. I like seeing real people on real hunts facing real challenges.
What an outstanding film! I have been tuned into GoHunt through the insider account, I have watched every podcast, every gear review, every video. What you guys do and how you paint the picture of what truly hunting is about and expressing the highest of highs and the lowest of lows is top tier. I’ve been on that roller coaster before and it’s something that is hard to put into words because it’s something that only you will experience. I’m a religious man and I know without a doubt that God put that buck crossing the road in front of you to give you closure. I believe God put you and that buck on the road there at the same time to give you peace and to show you that he’s alright and you can keep hunting for another one. Some may call me crazy but that wasn’t a “fluke” that he ran across the road 3 or so miles from where you shot him the day before. God works in mysterious ways!🙏🏻 Trail you have and always will be an inspiration for me and for other hunters in the hunting industry. Thank you for all that you do.
Great film guys, I get so inspired by these hunting films/stories. I hope to be half of the archery hunter trail is, good luck on the remainder of the year.
Amazing video Trail! 🔥🔥🔥 I have had more than my fair share of heartbreak with archery mule deer! So glad you don’t have any quit in you! GREAT BUCK!!!!
Tuff break on a nice buck. It happens and it won’t be the last time. Good on you for showing it. I enjoyed this video. Good job trail, still harvested a nice buck.
Absolutely phenomenal film! It doesnt get much better than this. And Luke with yet another killer film! GoHunt crew putting out top tier content every time🤙
I enjoyed seeing Trail's emotion after getting the buck after giving up mentally. Something I think all of us hunters go through. The pressures of home and family, shame of not bringing home meat. Victorious in the end.
Amazing story! We have all been there and I was there this year on an elk hunt. Thank you for sharing the highs and lows as we all feel alone in the moment but it is a shared suffering with all hunters.
You guys make other hunting channels hard to watch! Always cool to see someone as dedicated to bow hunting as Trail is, and that camera work was top notch.
Awesome video from the Gohunt crew, especially Trail. I’ve been thinking about going to archery for several years now, but this video did make me appreciate my modern rifle season. I would imagine that it’s a tough call on whether to move forward after wounding an animal, I think I’m going to stick to my rifle and hope I never have to make that call. Anyway, great job Trial! It looks like you put in the work and earned your dear. I hope the other one lives to see another year.
This Film really motivated me to get back out in the filed with my bow! Be down in the dumps with Spot n Stalk Whitetails in NW Oklahoma. All you really need Is ONE MORE CHANCE!
These hunting influencers get all the luck wish I had a buck just stand there next to the road 😂😂 Awesome hunt. The hard work and suffering made for an easy finale. Once again, Trail, you showed us how it’s done. Thanks for this film.
Man! What an awesome film Trail! The emotions you going through on the first buck reminded me of my Archery Elk hunt last year with a bull stepping out at 70 yards broadside.. and me not taking that shot.. a shot I’ve made so many times in practice. Spent the next 4 days not seeing any elk.. went home empty handed and haunted for not ever taking that shot. Way to go trail! I love all the videos you have been a part of man! I love your passion for bow hunting and it motivates me! Cheers! Here’s to 2025 hunts!
Wow great Film, I guess if you bow hunt, you totally understand the emotional roller coaster that happens day by day, it's as real as it gets. High five to all involved, great stuff. How did you attach your quiver to your hip, love the idea of a hip quiver while stalking, hate having it on my bow.
Way to stay at it! What a stud of a buck. I was in your shoes this year as well but on a bull elk. I made the decision to hunt on and I believe my cousin just killed him in 2nd riffle. Those animals are tough! But I’m glad it came together for you!
Once the snow comes in up there it’s way harder to run all those roads. Actually impossible in a pickup truck. You can drive the main roads but not the two tracks. Snowmobile is what you need. I’m gonna try my atv up there this December for my buddies cow elk tags. It gets very very cold in that part of Nevada in the winter. As always trail, nice video
Great content! Tuff break, I appreciate your thought process and explanation. I really enjoyed listening to the big hunt guys podcast about this as well!
This film reminds me of the OG go hunt films… probably because trail is an OG! Kinda surprised he didn’t get a glassing window mount specifically for this hunt. Great film!
Incredible hunt and on such a tough tag to get. Tons of deer out there. Did you get a buck on that late season hunt in Utah last season? I spoke to you on the phone about some pants a few weeks before the hunt. I blew my chance on day 6...
Hi there, I didn't have a late season deer tag in Utah, so I'm not entirely sure what may have been miscommunicated on my end. I had a deer tag in Utah last year, but I killed a nice buck with my bow on the early archery hunt.
@@trailkreitzer9163 hmm, I thought it was you spoke to, perhaps it was someone else. It was a late October hunt in Central Utah. I had called about a sizing question, and the guy on the phone (apparently not you) had the same tag. If it makes you feel a bit better about that first shot in this video, after living in the mountains for 6 days I finally found a buck, and put 3 bullets over the top of him. A few months later when I finally made it back to the range, I realized my elevation turret wasn't on zero. It was first hunting season, but sounds like I'm in store for a lot of retarded mistakes.
Trail is such a good story teller. His grandkids are going to like hearing Grandpas hunting stories some day
He's such a gem of a human! Thanks for watching the film.
That may be my favorite of your films! What a great story!
Beautiful story that’s captures it all. Luke needs a shoutout, that guy has some serious talent. Favorite hunt film yet
Great film, I love the authenticity. This film shows the rollercoaster ride of hunting perfectly. Great job Trail and Luke.
Thank you! That means a lot.
Unreal Trail, what a story, all the way around. Thanks for capturing it so well Luke. Primo fellas.

Trail is truly inspiring and an incredible ambassador of the craft of bow hunting. Thank you for all the lessons you share. Great film!

Best 4Runner commercial I’ve ever seen lol. But actually great film thanks for sharing!
One of the best hunts I’ve watched all fall! Great Job and thanks for sharing!
Great video all around! One of the best GoHunt videos yet! Nice work Trail! Way to stay with it.

About the most interesting and compelling road hunt video out there
Thanks for watching!

Great film, great hunt….gave me chills!!
So much fun to watch Trail! So much rings true for most of us that hunt Mule Deer! Great work!
Sweet buck, Trail! Great film too. Hunting can be such a rollercoaster but that’s part of what makes it so damn exciting!
Thanks!! Hunting never really goes as planned, and things don't always happen picture perfect.
Agreed, that was an amazing story and hunt, it was calming yet had my attention! Awesome hunt

Canon R3 camera body, and various Canon RF lenses.
