Thanks Trail for bringing us along with you down memory lane. Those are some great bulls and bucks. I don’t blame you for skull capping or euro mounting your elk. Taxidermy especially on elk can be expensive.
Truth be told I'm not entirely sure of the company that does it. I killed that bull in Utah and you have to send a harvest survey and part of that you can submit a tooth to have it aged. The age came from that survey.
NOW we know you’re more of a MULEY guy than an elk guy…. 🤔 Cuz your shoulder mounts are in the living room and your elk are downstairs in the dungeon… 😂👊🏾 #MuleysAreBetterThanElk.
haha, well they're all in the basement but you're right in that I have only mounted mule deer. Part of that is because it's a smidge cheaper, plus they take up way less room, and lastly for whatever reason I have killed better bucks than I have bulls....but in terms of a good time...archery elk will always be more fun. Mule deer are awesome and a big one is special, but they are a real pain in the arse to hunt ;)
Are these Wyoming general entry bulls wilderness area bulls or general purpose public land/blm? Want to out in for WY elk but don’t want to have to hire a guide (required for wilderness WY hunts).
Hi there, it's a mixed bag. The biggest one is from a wilderness area that I was able to hunt with my brother who is a Wyoming resident and could serve as my "guide". The others are non-wilderness general season bulls. I'd say that there is plenty of non-wilderness forest service and blm lands that you can hunt on general season tags or draw tags in areas that have a lot of non-wilderness terrain that can offer you a good hunt without a guide. A guide will offer you access into less pressured country and there are limited entry areas that are easier to draw that have good trophy potential because it's wilderness. Overall, just depends on what your objective is and what you can afford. Hope that helps some, all the best!
Hope this series continues for all the other guys!
Thank you for taking the time to show your collection Trail!
We appreciate you checking it out!
How can you not like this dude. Beauty
Be a bull elk. That’s how.
I love the way trail carries himself, humble and always tells a great story.
Could listen to his stories for hours!

Super fun to hear the stories. If you guys continue this series you should include the kill shot clips of your trophies if you have them

This was cool!! Awesome idea GOHUNT
Thanks!
This was awesome. What did the big mass Muley score out? can't wait for Brady's collection! Anyways thanks for sharing.
Hi there, he's just over 205"
Cool stories Trail 👍✌️🇺🇲
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome thanks for sharing
For a guy who claims to love elk hunting more than mule deer, seems odd that all of the mounts are deer…….
Great video as always Gohunt!!!
Haha, good eye! You’ll have to ask Trail about that.
His birthday was in November that year 😂
😂 I heard that as well. Maybe this year it will be in October
Can Go Hunt do a raffle where you go and hunt with Trail. Regardless if I'm the one with the tag, it would be fun!
What’s the score of the Cliff buck?
Hi there, he's just a smidge over 205"
@ so awesome! Really neat stories! I love to hear them
Trail is a BIG mule deer guy
Some great animals for sure. What percentage of these are from public land vs private land? Thank you?
Hi there, the little Wisconsin white-tail was from private piece of property but the rest are all public land diy.
@@trailkreitzer9163 I love to hear it. Thank you.
nice bucks man
Don’t tell Brady that….👊🏻😆
13 trips to pack out the moose…. holy shit lol 1:30
Where did you get your elk tooth aged?
Was it cementum aged

I will use Matsons

Also, that Captain Hook buck is my dream buck. All that character! Give me that over width any day.
