had the privilege of speaking with these gentlemen to confirm issues I was seeing just needed some re-assurance, and they took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. I purchased the tools, along with rollers and belt, all very well made and made the roller replacement and belt change easy. And I might add fast shipping, these guys don't play. I ordered on Wed and had them in hand on Friday. That is service,
This just helped me fix my 2020 maverick trail! I didn’t know what was wrong and followed this video until I found that my roller had broke in two pieces.
One thing that wasn’t addressed in the video that I think is important to point out. I was doing my rollers with this tool last night. The black countershaft will likely snag on the helix surface during compression. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, I kept thinking the rollers weren’t lining up and were getting stuck. Just a tip for anyone watching this video. You’ll have to maneuver the black countershaft around a little bit until it finally goes through the hole, then continue compressing.
2018 Can Am defender hd10, idles at 2000 rpm which makes it hard to shift into gear and often times grinds trying to go from neutral to high. Read online some people saying check the clutch rollers. Do you think that would be associated with the issue?
So there is no pre load on the secondary spring on can am defender? I'm pretty new to the cvt . I'm getting alot of slop in my belt when you let off the throttle. Thinking possible worn or broke spring.
Does the rollers come with new t27 torx screws stud and washer mine actually came loose and I’m missing one now. It is what actually broke in my secondary
Hello there! Lately I have an issue with the belt, by launching slowly it shakes/rattles and hits the cover as it wants to get out of the cover. Now i'm almost sure that at least one roller of the secondary clutch is broken bequase i found a piece of it on my yard (broken in half). Is it possible that this causes the issue? Or it can be the first clutch? Thank you in advance
Here is a link to them, $130 and they do not have a warranty, never thought about one, none have ever failed. www.hunterworks.com/inc/sdetail/102759/292908
They are drilled in after initial install. If you mean the ones you took out then someone replaced them before. I’d loctite them and be done. New have a dry loctite already

Thank you. Put that on a google review if you don’t mind.

Hi, from where you get the things that you changed
What causes this secondary clutch to open up when pressing gas causing belt to slip
If what you say is happening, it could be these rollers this video is about. However most slipping is done in the primary

Does not mean you do not have roller issues but 2000 is too high, needs to go to dealer to fix idle. The computer controls it, no physical adjustment

Not on this secondary.
What year and model is it? Might be bad secondary rollers

There are no washers on the two roller clutch and no on studs. Your new one will not have a hole for roll pin though

Absolutely it can, belt is not tight any longer due to this
@@Hunterworks Thank you so much for such rush answer! Where can I purchase the stronger rollers?

Can I send my clutch to you to rebuild? My rollers are done on my Can Am Ryker 900.
No but no need just order two rollers and compressor, as you see easy job.
What's the cost of your 3 rollers and what's your warranty?

My "pivot stud" has no hole in it whatsoever. There is a groove at the top of the threads, but zero holes.

@@Hunterworks thank you. I couldn't figure out why my replacement bolts were without the hole.
