      Great question Bruce and one that we should have addressed in the video! Of course there will always be situations when an RTK Mobile station is your best solution, such as remote locations where there are no Mount points close by or no internet available, this information is mainly for operators who may be starting out and can't afford the heavy investments that come with this kind of equipment 👍

      @@UAVISUALS I travel with my Starlink system .. not cheap or free, but less expensive than the fulll RTK kit

    Absolute legends! was legit about purchase at RTK station for my Inspire, not anymore!

      If you can afford it we'd still recommend one so you're prepared for any operational scenario, especially in more remote locations where mount points and internet coverage are unreliable 👍

    Even with NTRIP distance from mount point is an issue if you want to keep a good accuracy 😉

      Of course! Although we were mainly meaning connection strength, as generally that's not an issue with NTRIP as long as you have a solid data connection, plus it's always best practice to use GCP to ensure data accuracy regardless of using a base station or NTRIP connections 👍
