Dan the Star Man shows Disney on Broadway Concert Series 2024 feat. Heidi Blickenstaff & Gavin Lee

On this episode of Dan the Star Man, I present the FULL show of the second performance show of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series in the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
The Disney On Broadway Concert Series takes place in the America pavilion in EPCOT at the America Garden Theatre. It occurs during the following showtimes at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8:00PM during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts from January 12th to February 19th.

Also join us for an outstanding musical celebration as DISNEY ON BROADWAY stars perform some of the songs they helped make famous, as well as other sensational tunes.
This Disney On Broadway Concert Series performance features 2 stars from different Disney broadway musicals. Gavin Lee plays the role of Bert in the Disney broadway musical of Mary Poppins and even the role of Lumiere from the broadway show Beauty and the Beast. And Heidi Blickenstaff played the role of Ursula in the broadway show of Disneys The Little Mermaid and even the role of the mother in the broadway musical of Freaky Friday. Fun fact about Heidi Blickenstaff is that she also starred and played the role as the mom Katherine in the Disney Channel Original Movie Freaky Friday in the year 2018.
Gavin Lee & Heidi Blickenstaff perform the Disney on Broadway Concert series in the EPCOT Festival of the Arts on the following dates January 13th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 21st, 24th, and 25th.
The performance featuring Gavin Lee and Heidi Blickenstaff began with them singing the song “Be Our Guest” from the Disney broadway musical Beauty and the Beast.
After they finished singing Be Our Guest, they introduced their amazing band.
They got Luis in guitar
They got Chris on base
They got Mike on drums
They have John on keyboard
And importantly last but not least, they got their conductor, music arranger known as Jim Abbott.
They continue their performance with Heidi Blickenstaff singing the song “I Won’t Say” from the Disney broadway musical of Hercules. They also get into the spirit of fantasy-casting. Gavin Lee plays the role of the Muses and/or Hercules and he also sings the song alongside Heidi. Gavin plays the role as Heidi’s back-up singer when she sings “I Won’t Say”.
Gavin Lee has been doing the role of Bert the chimney sweeper in Mary Poppins for 8 years. He even loved the fact that he did tap-dancing literally up-side-down on the ceiling when he did the song Step in Time. In the spirit of fantasy-casting, Heidi is basically Gavin’s Mary Poppins. So Gavin Lee then does a Mary Poppins medley, and starts the Mary Poppins medley with one of his favorite songs “Let’s Go Fly A Kite”. They continue the medley with the song “A Jolly Holiday” from Mary Poppins. Next, they do the song “Chim-Chiminey”. Additionally, they finally do the song Step In Time and Gavin Lee does his amazing and fabulous tap-dancing.
Then Heidi Blickenstaff performs the song “No More Fear” from the broadway musical Freaky Friday.
Next Gavin Lee entertained us with singing the song of “In Summer” from the Disney broadway show of Frozen. He even does more tap-dancing! Plus it gets even more funnier because when he sings the song-lyrics “Put me in Summer and I'll be a ………” , everyone in the audience said the word puddle instead of Happy Snowman and it was so funny. And he does lots more tap-dancing for us.
Additionally, Heidi Blickenstaff sings the song “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from the Disney broadway musical of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
Before they do their final song, they make us thank their amazing band again with them. And then they conclude and finish their performance with the song "King of New York” from the broadway musical of Newsies. Plus during the song King of New York, for the first time ever, we literally see Heidi Blickenstaff doing some tap-dancing with Gavin Lee.
