This song resonates so much more when you're in love. I have now revisited this song after 13 years and two children later! I would say it had more depth the first time around. It remains one of my all-time favourites
In this video there is all I love. First of all Richard Hawley. After Woody Allen, Les quatre-cents coups, La strada... Very good, really, it is a very beautiful work!
I've put this on my fb page and it didn't a like. I was astonished. 1st time I heard I had to stop my car and listen . And I always love listening to this song. #masterpiece
I lost my sister in 2005 just after the massive tsunami on Boxing Day. I know she is just a whisper away, for the Lord God keeps our treasures safe for those truly believe . For me, she is one of them. I know she is in Heaven. I pray that knowing this would comfort you also, Sue. ✝️❤️🙏
Because Ethan will always be an outsider the door will always be closed to him , people often miss the point that through out the film his intension is to actually kill the girl NOT rescue her as the film tricks us in to believing
Got me through a rough snowy patch back in Valley City, North Dakota 2011, with a broken ankle listening to Mr. Hawley. Great memories now in 2021 healthy in sunny Los Angles, California.
An amazing video - it fits the music so well! Just brilliant! I love the song so much in it's own right - but with this video, I just seem to love it so much more!!
Tudo isso misturado nesse belissimo video que merece ser visto dezenas de vezes, onde a música tocará os corações apaixonados, afinal como diz a letra "love is so hard to find, and even harder to define".

That Ending from The Searchers with John Wayne gets me everytime. It's so deep in its meaning that only the True of Heart will understand.
