The Google Olympic game was goated. They made a whole ass RPG with several fun minigames to play and they even got a big name studio for the cutscenes.

The Champion island games had a secret second and even third level in some sections. It had many hours of play time(If u finish all side quests) and was a proper well rounded game
I played for Hours to get all the achievement and then reset the game
The crossover with the magic cat from the Halloween doodles was insane

Champion island is a goated game. It isn't just the games you can also complete other mission that you get from the town people. There are also harder version of those mini game that you unlock after completing curtain mission given by the town people. You have to complete all the mission and complete all the mini game and all the hard version of those mini game to complete the game. It's actually pretty fun to complete the game.

IIRC, Halloween 2018 was Google's first multiplayer Doodle game. It was especially fun when there were thousands (most likely more) of concurrent players looking for games. Back then you could instantly find players, but now it's hard to find multiplayer lobbies on even the latest releases.
Not so much fun for me anymore, but it brings back some element of nostalgia.

18:50 so for knowledge purposes, the reason here game is going so fast in scoville and in doctor who is because of the refresh rate of the screen:
a good chunk of old doodles just work by "game updates every refresh" without any control on how fast this happends, generaly assuming most users will play at 60hz (the common rate for regular PCs even currently); ludwig with his gaming setup was probably playing at like 144hz or 240hz or something

Champion island has to be the best google doodle games. Not only does it have mini games and animated cutscenes but it has an entire post game where you do a bunch of side quests,do secret levels of the other mini games and a secret ending

Seeing the doodle game for the Olympics again reminded me that this years Olympics will actually contain gaming in it and im kinda excited for it both chess and just dance aren't necessarily the best esport but they are definitely entertaining to watch for anyone who isn't that big of a gamer.
There was also the one for Mozart i believe where you had to reassemble his songs which was pretty fun, and then one of my favorites was the swing ballroom one cus it was a mini rhythm game

As a Doctor Who fan, that Google Doodle is unironically one of the best DW games ever made. It is notorious how most attempts at DW video games have been absolute ass, so they hardly even try anymore.
5:06 The Doodle Champion Island Games! I remember playing that one when it was released, it was really surprising the whole game was just a free thing (it celebrated the 2020 Summer Olympics, which happened in Tokyo).
I just reemerged from hyper-focussing on the rhythm challenge in that cat olympic game after I finally cleared it without a single miss! I'm unreasonably proud of myself haha that song is a jam tho! Thanks for making me curious to check it out! I had a lot of fun playing all the challenges
