...man, I love this video. The beauty is that you start from A and cover everything before you start B . Well done. Yes. my 'little soldier' is a legend. lol
Any recommendations on how to get trapped oil out of a case on the sales floor? Rack was overfilled with oil and now is trapped in several evaporators down in the bunker case. 3 of 6 evaporator coils are filled.
Should be returning with defrost, somethings off there. Electric or hot gas? If electric, you should have a liquid stop and a suction stop. One of them is not "stopping"!
I did rack refrigeration for 2 years. After 2 years of getting phone calls at 2 am almost every day. I had enough. Also got tired of leak checking for 6 hours a day.
@@techti8792No!!!! way better ways to make money in HVAC . I never under the weirdos with no life or the guys that hate thair wife that want to work on this crap .. get a hobby outside if work or get a girlfriend . You will never look back . Just look at the guy teaching the class what is the 150 lb overweight probably going to have a heart attack in the next year I guarantee he's on blood pressure medication and seven other pills he takes before he leaves the house 😂 that's what happens when you dedicate your life to Industrial refrigeration🎉
@@techti8792 better ways to make money in HVAC I've never even met a commercial refrigeration Tech that looks healthy😂 I guarantee that guy takes about seven pills before he leaves the house in the morning😂😂😂
As refrigerant saturated pressure drops in the evaporator, it becomes Less dense and therefore it can’t absorb as much heat as a higher saturation temp. This is why low temp applications need a sub cooler the increase the density of the boiling refrigerant in the evap. He is elaborating on how more pumping action (HP)is needed to move the same btu in the less dense vapor because it’s caring less heat.
JP, I was running through that pretty quick in the first part here. Be sure to check out part 7 - Subcoolers, I start it with digging deep into your question, with an example. Let me know if that doesn't clear it up for you!
If you take care of your equipment and Stores the service call volume will go down. I maintain three Supercenters with at least 4 racks, approx 15-20 compressors at each location. Haven’t had a 2 am service call in over a year. It pays to maintain your equipment
I love you video
Keep it up ❤
Thank you so much for the knowledge. Really appreciate you taking time to load the video on RUclips
I hope they come up with a 3D Vídeo about racks, that will be awesome!

Mathew Taylor is a wealth of knowledge, wish I could work with someone like that
I worked for Matthew a couple years here at Walmart...Great guy
Thanks Brian, loved working with you guys up there. And I do still tell your "911" story -with proper credit of course!
Did he buy ya breakfast and lunch? 😆
Thanks Brian and team!
Great job!
Thank you so much for this series

That companies on-call schedule was out of wack then. Not all companies do that to techs. Give it another shot but with better company
I agree with you. I learned a lot while doing it. Took those skills and moved on. Good luck to you out there.@techti8792

@@JacobsNews Actually blood pressure is just fine. Only medication I take is insulin. Thanks for caring.
Thank you 👏👏👏
@ 31:20 he talks about calculating the HP of a compressor using BTU's from the subcooler? Can someone explain this more i cant grasp it.
