Hot take: G1 accuracy isn't really what we want. Accuracy to our internal concept of G1 is what we want. So, Transformers designers, take what was good on G1, add joints and polish, and while adding detail, keep the greeble to a happy minimum.

It wouldn't be that far off from what they've done in the past. I don't know if you've ever heard of the game Darkened Skye, but the entire thing was just a marketing stunt by Skittles to sell more candy. Thing is, the game's actually pretty well done.
I switched Starscream and Thundercracker's heads. I also used 91% alcohol to rub out the silver splotches on the wings to clean them up. Focused on the leg area, the fists, the back wings, and the nose. There's still tiny splotches of silver paint in the cracks but it looks SO MUCH BETTER. I'm surprised you didn't mention Thrust when you talked about Red Wing. Thrust is a red Seeker. This could be his pre-conehead seeker form. Before he was upgraded into a coneheaded Earth Form. Maybe in the old days, he was shot down, and they had to repair him.
I'm so glad they revealed that earth mode Starscream before I pissed away a load of money on Skywarp and Thundercracker. The earth design toy looks so much better so hopefully I can get Skywarp and Thundercracker in that mold.
Not really my loss as I'm saving money by not buying something I don't want and then getting something I do want. Though it cuts me to the quick that I am no longer a true fan. I shall go burn my collection of 35 years in shame.

Man, I was kinda miffed by the scalping going on with the Skywarp set, keeping me from grabbing one. Then I saw the Earthrise Seeker Mold, and forgot all about the Siege ones for a bit. I am so stoked for the Earthrise Screamer!

Sorry for the late post but; I made sure I got the main three because they looked like Battlestar Colonial Vipers and I also bought Aimless so I have stuck a Battle Master under each of their nosecones; makes the feet less obvious. Mind you I will have to take some blue paint to Fracus so he matches Thundercraker.
Would be cool and hilarious if, for the Collaborative line, they do an official Colonial Viper Transformer that uses the Tetra Jet as an alt mode but with a completely different looking robot mode that’s nothing like the Seekers.

The Prowl mold seems to borrow heavily Combiner Wars while also having pegs in all the right places for combiner bits, and the Astrotrain engineering seems suggestive of what might be done with the Masterpiece Raiden project that Takara has announced, and the Sideswipe and Ironhide molds have potential for being a specific limb.
Love the look at the Seven Seekers So far! Fingers crossed we get enough Earth Rise repaints to get another weird one like Redwing. My prayers are that if we get the main 3 and coneheads, we get a Nacelle as a 7th repaint!

Studio Series Jetfire, or rather his SR-71 mode got me back into Transformers from childhood, and now my Seige Jetfire with all its cartoon accuracy makes me feel like I’m retroactively an 80s kid fanboying for Transformers. Seige Sideswipe is a Space Countach, Optimus is more or less perfect and Soundwave is a slab of awesome. It’s like getting G1 toys with all the articulation, and it’s perfect for someone building a brand new collection.
Redwing was already an existing character before shatter. It was meant to be a reference and extra little funny thing for fans who remember them. (If you want more details, check out baltmatrix's video on the figure)
I actually really love the blue on Thundercracker. It's so chewy and delicious and it pleases my eyes. Also, you're gonna hate me, but my local nerd shop had some Classics Seekers and some Movie 'bots a month back, and I managed to snag Nacelle and G2 Ramjet for about $8 all together. I feel like I was playing life with all the cheat codes on that day.

Fun fact- thundercracker was actually the first figure desgined back when he was called jet robo in diaclone. So in a sense starscream is actually a repaint of thundercracker.
the feet took a page from the Shoji Kowamori design playbook. the VF-1 from Macross does the same. 6:50 they could have fixed it if the legs connected with the nose of the vehicle mode.

So we got a Transformers Siege review video on the Seekers. From the famous one that started it all, to his two right hand bros, to the three that make it rain and a cool red one, let's check out these Decepticons airforce. This should be pretty cool. Despite these 7 seekers, I wish there was more, like Sunstorm, Sandstorm, but mostly Slipstream, since she's the first ever female seeker to exist. But maybe down the toyline we may see her and others. -0:52 Yeah your right, Bumblebee isn't in the Siege toyline?... But I wouldn't worry about it, Studio Series basically got Bumblebee covered with several different kinds to choose from. 2:03 Holy sparks thats alot of Skywarps. I heard that you're a big Skywarp fan, so wow, cool collection. Imagine that those Skywarp actually had the ability to teleport, and they all do it at once. That will cause a black hole dude XD ---2:22 Here we go with original seeker that started to whole seeker clone process, Starscream. From the G1 classic paint and sculpted details, the second-in-command of the Decepticon looks really cool. Love how he transforms into the Tetrajet from the G1 cartoon, especially the wing detail, and it's funny that you point out his keg of Fanta. ---8:26 Thundercracker looks really cool too in blue. But his cheeky smirk face, yeah it seems out of place since he's suppose to the seeker that unsure of the decepticon cause. It's more fitting for the treacherous Starscream. ---9:55 Now for the seeker of the hour, Skywarp. The only complain that I have, is that he's only available in a pack with three battlemasters. I wish he was sold as a solo Decepticon like the other two above. But the Phantomstrike Squadron are unqiue. 11:14 Actually yeah, the Coneheads: Ramjet, Dirge and Thrust would have been cool to see in the Siege toyline. Especially on their transformation into tetrajet. ---11:29 And next up is another tro of seekers, we got the Rainmaker. Acid Storm looks cool. He/She rocks the slime grean shading. Nova Storm also look cool in him/her lemonade yellow colors. And Thundercracker, I mean Ion Storm, wait. We already got a blue seeker already. Got nothing against Icon Storm, but I wish Siege went with a lighter shade of blue to make him a bit different. But anyways, the three Rainmakers still all look good threegether and as they storm the Autobots with rain, acid rain. ---14:02 Now here's my boy, give it up for the devil may care attitude seeker with some powerful guns, it's Red Wing. And yeah, he does look like Armada Starscream, which is a cool aspect. Red Wing is really looking sharp of sparks, rocking the color scheme of black, white and the red red redrum of his namesake. Sure. I'll admit that the siege smudge marks seems unnessary, since it's his first toy ever, but I'll get over it. If I had to choose just one, out of all these Decepticon seekers, I would choice Red Wing as the sole seeker to have. That's just my opinion. So over all, build your Cybertronian Decepticon seekers to a 7 member squadron and rule the skies above Cybertron. -16:24 Of course, looks like they'll take their dogfighting skills to Earth soon enough. Except for the Rainmakers, they're still on Cybertron with Shockwave.
Considering Fracas and Shrute are canonically Scourge's and Spinister's respectively, my headcanon is that Terror-Daxtyl is now Skywarp's partner, formally promoting him to a Targetmaster. I got a 3D printer, so if I ever get a G1 Skywarp, I'm making him a pseudo retro buddy.

I mean Thrust is a much darker red, kinda maroon, while Red Wing is a very bright red.

It’s a better name unlike something stupid like Redwing. It would be like if they named Thundercracker Bluewing.
Redwing was already an existing character before shatter. It was meant to be a reference and extra little funny thing for fans who remember them.

I actually really love the blue on Thundercracker. It's so chewy and delicious and it pleases my eyes.
Also, you're gonna hate me, but my local nerd shop had some Classics Seekers and some Movie 'bots a month back, and I managed to snag Nacelle and G2 Ramjet for about $8 all together. I feel like I was playing life with all the cheat codes on that day.

Fun fact- thundercracker was actually the first figure desgined back when he was called jet robo in diaclone. So in a sense starscream is actually a repaint of thundercracker.

the feet took a page from the Shoji Kowamori design playbook. the VF-1 from Macross does the same. 6:50 they could have fixed it if the legs connected with the nose of the vehicle mode.

i really do like that, even with modern animation technology and cell-shaded CGI with dedicated models, seekers STILL get accidentally recolored as each other. 'hey what gives i thought this acid storm model was the one we were using. what do you mean you just shipped the episode.' at least they ran with it!

Siege Starscream that I keep in plane-amid mode and the anniversary studio series earth rise sculpt with the throne and coronation gear which I keep in bot mode
I love this tetrajet design. I'd love it if they released some more available skywarps, redwings, and hotlinks. also, sunstorm and slipstream in this style would be awesome.

So we got a Transformers Siege review video on the Seekers. From the famous one that started it all, to his two right hand bros, to the three that make it rain and a cool red one, let's check out these Decepticons airforce. This should be pretty cool. Despite these 7 seekers, I wish there was more, like Sunstorm, Sandstorm, but mostly Slipstream, since she's the first ever female seeker to exist. But maybe down the toyline we may see her and others.
-0:52 Yeah your right, Bumblebee isn't in the Siege toyline?... But I wouldn't worry about it, Studio Series basically got Bumblebee covered with several different kinds to choose from.

---2:22 Here we go with original seeker that started to whole seeker clone process, Starscream. From the G1 classic paint and sculpted details, the second-in-command of the Decepticon looks really cool. Love how he transforms into the Tetrajet from the G1 cartoon, especially the wing detail, and it's funny that you point out his keg of Fanta.
---8:26 Thundercracker looks really cool too in blue. But his cheeky smirk face, yeah it seems out of place since he's suppose to the seeker that unsure of the decepticon cause. It's more fitting for the treacherous Starscream.
---9:55 Now for the seeker of the hour, Skywarp. The only complain that I have, is that he's only available in a pack with three battlemasters. I wish he was sold as a solo Decepticon like the other two above. But the Phantomstrike Squadron are unqiue.
11:14 Actually yeah, the Coneheads: Ramjet, Dirge and Thrust would have been cool to see in the Siege toyline. Especially on their transformation into tetrajet.
---11:29 And next up is another tro of seekers, we got the Rainmaker. Acid Storm looks cool. He/She rocks the slime grean shading. Nova Storm also look cool in him/her lemonade yellow colors. And Thundercracker, I mean Ion Storm, wait. We already got a blue seeker already. Got nothing against Icon Storm, but I wish Siege went with a lighter shade of blue to make him a bit different. But anyways, the three Rainmakers still all look good threegether and as they storm the Autobots with rain, acid rain.
---14:02 Now here's my boy, give it up for the devil may care attitude seeker with some powerful guns, it's Red Wing. And yeah, he does look like Armada Starscream, which is a cool aspect. Red Wing is really looking sharp of sparks, rocking the color scheme of black, white and the red red redrum of his namesake. Sure. I'll admit that the siege smudge marks seems unnessary, since it's his first toy ever, but I'll get over it. If I had to choose just one, out of all these Decepticon seekers, I would choice Red Wing as the sole seeker to have. That's just my opinion.
So over all, build your Cybertronian Decepticon seekers to a 7 member squadron and rule the skies above Cybertron.

Considering Fracas and Shrute are canonically Scourge's and Spinister's respectively, my headcanon is that Terror-Daxtyl is now Skywarp's partner, formally promoting him to a Targetmaster. I got a 3D printer, so if I ever get a G1 Skywarp, I'm making him a pseudo retro buddy.
