For this performance, well, yes--you'd have to transcribe it. Not too hard, but if it's your first transcription, it would be a great way to learn the arrangement and their interpretation. Respectfully, PMH
It's a great piece and nice playing but way too slow - it's a tango. You couldn't dance to that. Listen to the composer play it properly at the right speed.
Listen to Piazzola's renditions. They are not this slow, but this piece was written to be slower than the average tango. Piazzola plays it slowly. Try Piazzola's Soledad and Tanti anni prima. Two more slower tangos.
Such a beautiful performance!!
what a beautiful tone on the flugelhorn. Also I love that the upright was incorporated. It is like a jazz trio with classical flavoring. Love it! :)
beautiful sound from the flugelhorn
A beautiful sound and very sensitive playing, bravo
Lovely.
Sublime!
this is so good :D
Bravo bravíssimo
Beautiful! Where can I get a copy of the sheet music for this ensemble?
Beautiful performance! Do you still have the sheet music for this arrangement? I would love to program it on a recital!
@BassicallyChristian Thank you!
is it possible to get the sheet music for this arrangement?

Musicians play according to their chosen presentation. Why duplicate something?
Jeremy Wise very much possible to dance an Argentinian tango even if tempo is a bit down-:)

I like this arrangement and the chosen tempo. It is all part of the interpretation.
