I only have about 500 rounds through it but so far it has been smooth as butter, no issues, and she shoots true. The quality of the gun is insane and they aren’t lying about all that comes in the box. If you’re looking for a sub $500 gun to get you out on the range with just about everything you need except ear muffs and bullets, I highly recommend the canik. They used to be an aerospace engineering company who manufactured parts for aerospace companies so all their machines are top of the line and very precise. (Which shows). I had a female friend that bought a Sig Sauer .380. Brand new out of the box wouldn't feed more than 3 rounds at the most without having a failure to feed. Tried both magazines and a few different types of ammo with the same result. She had the shop she brought it from send it back to Sig. Two months later got it back with a work order from Sig that said "No problem found" yet it still did the same thing. So I took a look at it. What I found was the feed ramp and chamber had tool marks so rough that when you slid a cartridge in by hand it felt like you were trying to slide the cartridge across 60 grit sand paper. Well it took me probably 6 - 8 hours of polishing to get it where it feeds reliably now. I can guarantee that she will never buy another Sig. I had never got excited by any Sig product before that but that jyst confirmed for me not to buy one. Crappy product with no srevice behind it.

    It's funny that people keep talking about Sigs discharging on their own when there has not been any credible evidence. The lawsuit states that it's due to the P230 not having an external safety. Which is funny because my SP2022 has no external safety and has not once gone off on its own. My father's P230, not a single round, was fired unless by him. A bunch of cops wanted glocks because they thought they are cool, so they made an excuse to disqualify Sig.

    • @aberg94
      @aberg94 Год назад

      You are so misinformed its not even funny. It was an actual issue with the original P320s that could discharge if dropped and impact was made on the back of the slide/back of the grip. They re-engineered the FCG to prevent this from happening, so any 320s made in the last couple years dont have this issue. It has nothing to do with police departments "thinking glocks were cool" so they made some bullshit excuse to avoid getting Sigs.

    • @jondahl3173
      @jondahl3173 11 месяцев назад

      I'll add to that. My SP2022 has a great trigger, both DA and SA, goes bang when I need it, doesn't go bang when I don't ask it. It's my go to piece, and it's action doesn't require an external safety. Why they discontinued it so quickly is beyond reason.
