Thanks for your video What is the card in the mini base chime for? I’m putting 128gb in the door bell for storage. Do I need one in the chime too? Or it’s better to have it in the chime instead?
@@damidammi states: Store Doorbell Footage with a microSD card: Add up to 128 GB for storing footage from your doorbell camera by adding a microSD card (not included). Video is protected even if your video doorbell is damaged or lost.
@@ZRKREVIEWS you dont need an SDcard because it will not be used all videos are stored in the doorbell only!! this is the answer i got from Eufy support
@@ZRKREVIEWSSdcars in chime has no sense i got this answer from Eufy support : Currently, the T8023 Minibase Chime can only be used as an indoor "ding-dong" chime through the App by navigating to Doorbell Setting >> Indoor Chime >> Minibase Chime. We understand the importance of having more versatile functionality for your devices. We are pleased to inform you that we are planning to release a firmware update by January 2025, which will support the T8023 chime as a base station connected to the doorbell and enable storage on the chime.
@@jacengel9129 That’s interesting as I’ve asked the question with eufy yesterday and they replied saying the doorbell camera has to be linked to the chime whereas at the moment the chime is link to the doorbell camera. Sounds odd but the opposite way around so I assume a sort of two way channel, one for the chime to receive data to ring a sound and another link for the chime to record video to the chime. Just a cock and bull story I don’t know but will try it later but wait for the January update else wise, however I was not told of any update bu eufy so hope what they told you is the truth.
@@chriskay2607do you have also the chime T8023 ? Yes it is a bit funny, the only thing after setting up the chime you can select the sound and level in settings doorbell and then select doorbell receiver then select minibase chime

My eufy does NOT connect to chime no matter what I do!!!
My chime is unable to find the WiFi network. It keeps searching and then says- no devices found! Any advice or tips? Thanks
You may be connected to 5g WiFi you need 2.4 I believe
Nevermind. It finally connected. All good. Works like a charm - both doorbell and the chime with 128gb micro SD.
My is no connecting to Bluetooth. Is a headache
