I"M from Ames. We all know Brock. He went to my church. Cornerstone. We've watched him for YEARS. HE treats everyone, ALL, wiht kindness and respect and is truly following Jesus and loves Him and lives in humility.

@@scott4289Absolutely, I mentioned Brock and CJ because they were the first ones who came to my mind but I so much respect for the other QB’s who talk about Jesus. It takes a certain boldness to talk about God in that way.
There were a few college qbs that were praising Jesus after their bowl games too.. lots of players pray together too.
His story actually is pretty incredible. Brock was the last pick in the NFL draft. Going from a 3rd string quarterback to now playing in the Super Bowl is a dream come true. He certainly wears his faith on his sleeve. Let's pray this young Christian can navigate the landmines of temptations that come with fame and fortune.
He was actually the 4th string Qb and beat out a player called Bethard to barely make the final roster.

He said he knew he wasn’t a believer and that anytime he heard about the rapture or hell he would get uncomfortable. He has heard your videos for the last 3 years but tonight was the night. Wow!!!!! As a Ukrainian immigrant to America back in early 2000s, I gave my life to Christ at age 12/13 and my whole life was changed forever!! I love hearing testomonies love this from young kids who Understand the love of God and seriousness of sin. Praise our Heavenly Father God! Jesus knocked on your son’s door and your son let him in. That’s just so beautiful. My adult son had turned from believing in God to becoming an atheist some 4 years ago. Last year he was going through a terrible time in his life. He asked me “Mom will you pray for me?” Those words brought tears to my eyes. My son is not lost anymore or bound by the chains of Satan.

Brock Purdy is a wonderful example of how God uses us. He was the last, final pick in the NFL draft. He got his opportunity to play via unfortunate injuries to the two QB's who were ahead of him (Brock was the 3rd string QB) on the 49ers.
It's always encouraging to see God's people rise up, and speak out, once they're in the public spotlight.

Brock Purdy is still so young and still new to fame and fortune. There will be a lot of temptation throwing themselves at him, lots of "friends", "buddies" tempting him to live like them, so, we must pray from him to hold firm and strong in his faith, surrounding himself with likeminded people.

You cannot out psychologize the Bible for God not to throw you into hell for all eternity. In other words, you cannot come up with a good enough excuse here and now, so you will not be able to on judgment day. If you say you did not want to be born, God is going to say you should’ve been born again, that means become a Christian so that’s not gonna work. And there are no other excuses try to think of one. So now you know for the first time in your life, that the Bible is smarter than you and it is a steel trap, smarter than all of mankind, What should you do then? So at least investigate and look to see that these things are true, because right now you just learned the Bible is smarter than you, and you will be accountable for your life on judgment day before God!

God‘s really sticking his neck out to get it cut off if he’s wrong, but he hasn’t been wrong about the thousands of prophecies that were fulfilled, so he’ll be right about the end of the world prophecies as well and you’ll have no excuse on judgment day for not looking for truth!

I choose faith over fear! Both of my sons are autistic it’s overwhelming at times because they require so much from me. As a single mother things are difficult. I keep faith in God even as I struggle to support them. I keep faith as I struggle to pay rent, and as I struggle to buy groceries for my sons. Every month is a battle. I want to give up yet God gives me strength. Strength to go on. Strength to share my testimony. No matter our struggles God will never leave our side. Praise God and keep faith no matter what. I have faith God will make a way when there is no way. 😢

I used to support Christians having Super Bowl parties even in the church but between the commercials and the half time shows being so utter demonic it grieves me to participate. Even unbelievers are noticing this full court press by the enemy. If it were possible to turn the station or mute those parts and speak to those attending more as an evangelist opportunity it might be possible to do so without guilt. Otherwise we may be condoning a sort of sin by inviting the lost to such an event and displaying that we might be agreeing with evil knowing these these open displays are more than likely going to be seen by viewers.

I recall a faithless, racist QB who was worshipped by the masses just over 10 years ago who also played for the 49ers in a Superbowl. They lost on that day, yet he's been in the news ever since. This kid will do what he's gonna do, and regardless of whether he wins or loses he will succeed above and beyond anything we could possibly imagine, whether or not he is focused upon or remembered beyond this Sunday.

Know doubt during the Superbowl this year people will watch the halftime show. How about making a Living Waters video that lasts the same amount of time as the halftime show? People can tune into your channel and hear you talk about the Word of GOD instead of whatever will be shown to them.

I heard Brock say God a lot. I appreciate the one interview he talked about Jesus. Voddie said everyone will let you get by with thanking God but the rubber meets the road when you say the name Jesus in public and describe him rightly. I remember Kurt Warner after he won the Super Bowl with the Rams yelling “THANK YOU JESUUUSS!” I pray for Brock and his witness but I can’t support SF for anything.
I love this young man's heart. As I watched the Super bowl last night, I was praying that Jesus would be with him. I was disappointed that the 49ers didn't win, but I know he Lord has a plan for Brock and he is going to use both the wins and the loses to conform him into the image of Christ.
My nephew shared with a video of John Harbaugh reading scripture in the Ravens lockerroom. He was worried that uhoh God is gonna be on the Ravens side. I told him there are Christians on every team and that it's just as important to glorify God in defeat as in victory.
I wouldnt call him viral, he led his team to super bowl his first full year and is rising star in NFL. He seems like a great guy.

6 days ago I went & shared the gospel with 8-9 college students near my town. However, I feel it was powerless because I neglected to pray with them 😢
Its ok! Im a campus evangelist at University of Arizona and I always encourage people to share the gospel . Dont feel bad. You did what most Christians dont! Just remember to pray with people next time. 😊
The Bible says the word does not return void. Sharing the gospel will plant a seed in their heart. Pray for them that they will get a Bible and start searching it themselves.

I’m still alive by the grace of God. I’ve survived a stroke, sepsis and cancer. I should have died from one of them. Every day is a gift from God. We need to thank God for every single new day we wake up too. Praise God that Brock is a great example for what we need to do.

I gotta say, sports is a religion, IMO a massive waste of time keeping people glued to the television.
Agree; I'd rather see medical workers, GODLY teachers, MILITARY/VETERANS, ministers & missionaries-- see where I'm going-- rather than sports ppl & "entertainers" getting paid obscene amounts of money & the while some sports are enjoyable and health benefits, I personally can't stand watching or hearing sports. It's a waste of time for me & I concur with every negative Ray mentioned. The older I get, the more I want to devour & understand God's Word & enjoy quiet & nature & witnessing to people in Christ's Love ❤️
