This is Ray Comfort teaching a works based gospel: ruclips.net/video/ssM-FXpIJfw/видео.htmlsi=YjkwJ6hD1tC0kHJP
He says you must turn from sin to be saved. We are saved by grace through faith alone. Not of our works. Baptism won’t save you. We all sin everyday in word thought or deed. If we have to stop sinning after being saved, we would all not make it. I’m not promoting sin or saying you have a license to sin. Becoming more Christ like and doing good works is for Discipleship NOT for salvation. Your works or lifestyle do not prove your saved. Judas was a disciple but never believed, Judas even repented after selling Jesus out. He went to Hell. So stop with the lies. The only condition for salvation is faith in Jesus to save you. Repentance is a change of mind, nothing more. We repent when we stop trusting in anything but Jesus to save us.

@@CovelioRay preaches the truth. He presents the 10 commandments as a mirror not as a list to be perfect.. he presents the 10 commandment first so that we know we’re “sick” so he can clearly give us the cure which is Jesus. A person who doesn’t see the need for Jesus will not follow Jesus.. He goes on to say that Jesus paid the fine for all of our sins.. but do we continue to deliberately sin against God just because He’s already forgiven us and died for us?? No.. Ray is saying we have to trust Jesus like we trust a parachute in everything we do, he clearly explains that we can’t do it alone and we have to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. To admit that we need Jesus in our daily lives, literally every moment of our lives.

And you can! I feel the same way. It’s going to take faith, love, and hard work as we go out and evangelize. It’s not described as an easy thing, it’s hard every time. Even Paul the apostle asked several churches for prayer that he may have the boldness and words to preach the gospel to others. And Ray Comfort has expressed how he has felt nervous before every evangelizing experience but goes through with it because of one main thing: love for that sinner who is on their way to Hell. Ray says, “the point is not to remove the fear. It is to have love greater than your fear.” It’s a matter of denying yourself and putting all you have into following Jesus as we go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15). I hope this encourages you. You are not alone. God can provide you opportunities to evangelize; all you need to do is ask :) God has blessed me with evangelizing opportunities when I’ve felt so nervous and asked Him for help, and He continues to help me grow my love for others and become braver. He can do the same for you.
And remember this: The little that we give God, He can multiply in His hands🙌. Just like Jesus did with the 3 loaves and 2 fishes to feed the 5,000.
      Peace be with you❤️.

A cameraman was running the video as he spoke with different folks to get their responses to Ray’s sharing the Gospel .

@@elizabethramsay-wilt7995 The shocking truth is that Jesus will not save you. That’s right! Jesus will not save you, or anyone else, and here’s why, and to help you realize this, consider the following facts:
Sin has separated you from God, the Father, the life-giving Spirit, and you have no access to His Holy Spirit while you are burdened and covered with sin. Without God, the life-giving Spirit, you will die without any hope of redemption and eternal life. You were born into a world of good and evil due to the fall of Adam, your original father, and the father of all mankind, and also due to your sins, God is far from you, and He will not redeem you. We, who are separated from God, and separated from the giver of life, which is why our lives end. Without righteousness, you have no access to God, the Father. To establish righteousness, God’s law was revealed to us, which can lead to righteousness, however, you, and everyone else on the planet, fell short of obeying the law of God, and now the law condemns you, and everyone, as all have fallen short of righteousness. But here is the good news, of ‘the Gospel,’ “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ‘He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God’” (John 3:16-18). What is His name? What is the revealed name of the Savior, the only begotten Son of God?
In Matthew 1:21, the angel commanded Joseph, a descendant of king David and betrothed husband of Mary, to give the newly born Savior, the only begotten of God the Father, the virgin-born Son of God, a specific name. But, did the angel give the name of “Jesus”? And this begs the question, can we change the name of salvation revealed from Heaven? The shocking fact is that the name “Jesus” has only existed since the 17th century CE! Before the name Jesus (gee-sus) existed, it was Iesus (ee-sus), as found in the Bible, the King James Version of the year 1611 CE. Iesus transformed from the name Iesous (ee-sous). Iesous is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua. Will God honor belief in a name (Jesus) he never revealed as the name of salvation? If we chose Jesus, as the name of salvation, a name that came into being through linguistic evolution, are not the names Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, counterfeits? The angel did not speak to Joseph in English (Jesus), Latin (Iesus), or in Greek (Iesous).
Why is this even an issue?
The apostle Peter gave this testimony: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). This excludes any other name, or names, not revealed from Heaven! The name “Jesus” is there in the New Testament, and if it did not get there by the revelation of God, then why is it in the Bible? It was authorized by the traditions of men and not the revelation of God. That would make the name Jesus a counterfeit name, and therefore, not honored by God. Now what do we do? We failed the requirements of the Law, which if obeyed afforded us righteousness and acceptance to God the Father, and therefore eternal life, and we do not have the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved!
And God never revealed the names of Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous, so what is the revealed name of salvation? So what do we do? We must find the name of our salvation in the Word of God, and not according to the tongue of man!
Let’s start, with a man by the name of Saul, a Jewish religious leader, who was commissioned to go to Damascus to arrest and prosecute Jewish believers in Christ. Later he gives this testimony of his journey to king Agrippa, “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting” (Acts 26:12-15). We know that Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous are not Hebrew names, therefore, Christ did not reveal those names.
Did Saul, who now is an Apostle, who afterwards went by the name of Paul, and who was sent by Christ to preach the Gospel of Christ, actually hear the name “YAHSHUA”? This is a very unique name, and it would likely be considered a philological impossibility by linguistics today. But notice, that the name YAHSHUA has the prefix of YAH. What does prefix mean? A prefix can be a letter or group of letters that may be added to the beginning of a word to modify its meaning. Shua means “my help”, as in “salvation.” Therefore Shua is modified by YAH, and literally means, “I AM Salvation.” YAH is part of the true name of God, and we praise this name by saying, “Halleluyah,” which means “Praise YAH!” The meaning of YAH is “I AM.” Many believe the name of the God of the Bible to be YAHWEH. YAH is “I AM”, but “weh”, who knows?
Where did we get the name YAH?
Short answer, the name YAH was revealed to Moses. “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” [that is: “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH,” HaYAH means “the I AM”] And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM [YAH] has sent me to you.’ ” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations” (Exodus 3:13-14). YAH is “the name which is above every name.”
Did the apostle Paul hear “the name which is above every name” on the road to Damascus? Yes, he did, as his testimony clearly reveals. He did not hear the name Jesus, but he heard the name YAH, and he writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11).
What is truly being said here?
The Christ has “the name which is above every name,” YAH.
We, all creatures, are to bow before this name YAHSHUA!
Every language, every tongue, is to know this one revealed name from Heaven!
Any name not revealed by God is a counterfeit name, and therefore tantamount to idolatry!
Any name not revealed by God is not the name of salvation, whereby we must be saved!
To reject the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved is to stand and be condemned already (John 3:18).

I strayed a bit off the path for a couple of years and I had a similar experience. I had attended a friends end of the season Lifeguards party at an old Coast Guard Station 30 miles , or so from the Air Station. Everyone was smoking dope and drinking and I believe something was in one of the joints I shared and I sort of blacked out, really blacked out. My friends say I got on that Triumph 500, started it , said goodbye , and the miracle was, I made it the 30 miles home, and I remember none of it, maybe just one traffic light and it all went black again. I woke up the next morning in my own bed, with my motorcycle parked in front of my apartment, and no memory of the trip home, except for maybe that one traffic light. I quit everything that day, and got back on the path like my parents taught me and never strayed again. I know someone watched over me and I never forgot that night.

@@jessiska2468 He says that you must repent of your sins and trust Christ alone for salvation.
How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance ( repenting of sins )?
      You absolutely can't.
The entire book of John says believe about 99 times no mention of repentance.
When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life!
Jonah 3:10, " And God saw their *works* that they turned from their wicked way and God repented of the evil that He would do unto them and He did it not."
      *Repentance of sins is works.*
Furthermore; sin is transgression of the law, therefore, repentance of sins is *law keeping* and is certainly a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation.
If repentance of sins helps save you in any way then it had better be perfect repentance.
God's standard is absolute perfection not your best efforts.
      Trying doesn't count.
Not even one sin is allowed to be in Heaven.
The book of James says that if you follow the whole law and offend in one point you are guilty of all.
Oops, so much for helping out with your salvation by attempting to repent of your sins.
God grants repentance unto the acknowledgement of the truth.
*Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.*
So it's plain and simple that Ray Comfort has another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense.

If you understand & believe what the Catholic Church teaches, you are headed for hell. I say that because I care enough to tell you the truth. Read your Bible. Galatians and Romans would be a great starting point. Your church denies the Gospel. They believe Protestants are headed to hell for the same reason. If you care enough about your own eternal destiny , let the scriptures decide.

As you were speaking (at 24min) about fear of death, I was thinking, "I'm not afraid of dying," and then I thought WAY BACK to when I was a little girl and had a nightmare of demons pulling me away from my parents and my big brother, and in the dream, that I would never see them again. .. One night, my dad was tucking me into bed, and I told him I didn't want to go to sleep, because of the nightmare. My parents took me to the living room and explained to me about Jesus and salvation. And that when they die, they will be in heaven. I made Jesus my Lord that night. Of course, I don't remember everything in that conversation, as I was VERY young. But as we walk with the Lord and "work out our own salvation," we learn and grow more, so though I was saved at a young age, I continue to grow more as I submit to Him each area of my life.
    .. (I was BOrn in '72.) .. So I don't fear death NOW, but I guess I did once. 😄

Love God, Love our Neighbor, and NOT doing bad works, James 2 "Faith without works is dead". The Bible teaches us we can absolutely lose our salvation by our own doing. We must endure to the end like Paul did. If we love god but hate our neighbor we are NOT following Jesus' 2nd commandment. Believing in Jesus alone is not enough, for even Satan believes. James 2:19 "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe". "Faith alone" is a false gospel. He (Ray C.) shares the gospel out of gratitude for what God thru Christ did for him. He is aware that it's a weighty issue, worthy of giving his all, as all was given for him. He indicates that he's trusting in God for salvation & eternal life, as was promised scripturally. Faith is activated by loving gratitude & produces service (good works). Gordon and Smith had a factory in Cronulla making bonza surfboards after the Campbell brothers templates from San Diego. Bob McTavish and Terry Fitzgerald had learned from Dick Brewer in Hawaii and via-versa. There was so much cross-pollination.

@@Simon.the.LikeableThe shocking truth is that Jesus will not save you.

I am thankful to you Ray for sharing this, because it is incredibly validating to my own experience.
I used to be this person, who was a thrill seeker, and would take drugs, just for fun. Well I also heard about their therapeutic benefits (in clinical settings) and thought I'd try to fix my own problems by taking hallucinogens.
One day I was taking mushrooms and was crying about trauma that had happened to me as a child. I began to ponder about how interesting PTSD is. You can be happy and fine, not remembering things for years. Then one day, bam! It's like these painful memories are locked away in the back of your mind, stored there until you're old enough to sort them out.
I thought (as a new age, occultic, agnostic) that evolution couldn't have produced that! Love must have put that there, to preserve a child's mind from insanity. Love did that!
In that moment it was almost like, idk how to put it into words because despite being on mushrooms, it was a supernatural experience. I was in the presence of God (I now believe it to be the Holy Spirit) and I began to weep, because I realized how wrong I had been living my life. Chasing after all the wrong things. I was on my knees weeping, sobbing. Then without words I was given the sense that we are living in the end times, time is short! It is imminent! It was very fearful. I was also almost shown all of the bible, that it was true. It made sense if only for a moment before it was hidden from my mind again.
It shook me to the core of my being. It (this experience) changed me. I have never been the same again. I became a believer that day. It was September 2017 and let me tell you, since then the signs have gotten so frequent I can't even watch anymore. It is evident and apparent that the end is imminent.
I don't tell many people about this because I don't want to cause confusion, about my conversion. That I condone taking drugs or anything like that. I also don't want people to condemn what happened and tell me it wasn't real. But it was. It shook my inner spirit. It put the fear of God into me. I KNOW Yahweh is real!!

Sure, they are not perfect but in my mind I always wonder what that must be like and HOW do they do it without becoming self righteous? How do they keep going for Jesus when there are so many temptations on every side? When you think about it..a faithful follower of Christ is the best testimony of all.

@@theartistcherrypi6454 The shocking truth is that Jesus will not save you.

I knew Jesus since I was a little boy but I didn’t have any Christian instruction except to pray. I got baptized Catholic at 13. Family stopped going to church and since I didn’t understand the Bible and only would pray. I believed salvation was works based. I believed that bastard children don’t go to heaven I was scared. I would bargain with God. I fell away as a teenager when I started pursuing losing my virginity. My falling out with God lasted till I was 22-23 in 2021 and found the truth through your videos Ray Comfort. It led me to give up on myself and seek God and in a few months after God blessed me with a woman that I would come to marry a couple months after repentance. We connected on Jesus and got married the same year. Something I never seen coming. It was quick and I am deeply appreciative to God that I found your interviews. Thank you Jesus Thank you Ray Comfort.

A false works based gospel of turning from your sins, working to be saved! Let no man deceive you…
      Matthew 7:21
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (KJV)
What’s the will of the Father for us?
      John 6:40
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (KJV)
The will of the Father is to believe on the son for salvation. Born again. Once a son always a son. He will never leave nor forsake us. Sealed until the day of redemption. You can’t lose you salvation. You cant work for a free gift. Once saved always saved. Amen 🙏

@@Covelio. What are you Covello, mute? Every scripture you’ve quoted is in line with what Ray is saying.
The problem with people like you is that you come to the Lord by the Grace of God & somehow in your experience you come to believe that you have a monopoly on the scriptures.
Do you truly believe you know more than this brother of 50+ years?
      You sound like a new convert full of zeal with no knowledge (Prov 19:2);
Maybe a Calvanist has invaded your walk with Christ & you’ve been duped by the 5- points of Calvinism which is the real false doctrine. You believe you can live anyway you want and still go to heaven. You now make everything you hear concerning the doctrine of Christ into works because it helps you believe the sins you’re committing are okay and you don’t have to struggle with the Holy Spirit conviction that more than likely has turned into guilt from knowing your disobeying God.
You’re now loving your sin so much you won’t/can’t let go!
You don’t truly believe you can live like hell & still have salvation waiting for you with your intentional choice of sin in your life however, you can’t change it because you’re in bondage. REPENT! Or is that WORKS TOO?
Even the fool is considered wise if he keeps his mouth shut!……(Proverbs 17:28)…. Paraphrased, but I’m sure you get it!!…..Get right or get left!…..🙏
