Western Narratives Unravel in Ukraine Including Ukraine's Black Sea "Victory"

  • Update on the conflict in Ukraine for October 13, 2024…
    Russian forces have made significant advances all along the line of contact including beyond the now Russian-held city of Vugledar, around Pokrovsk, and toward Torestsk;
    Ukraine’s Western sponsors continue to incrementally admit the limits of their military support for Ukraine;
    Limitations to Ukrainian manpower are also increasingly being admitted to;
    Recent Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian maritime shipping have reversed the so-called Black Sea "victory" the collective West has hailed for months (if not years);
    Ukraine's "victory plan" most likely entails Ukraine being admitted into NATO as the conflict continues, creating similar dynamics to the US occupation of Syria, and locking Western military power in Eastern Europe making pursuit of US primacy elsewhere more difficult;

      @@wwlb4970 Sounds like propaganda. Nice try, kid I don't believe you. Last I checked ukraine doesn't have a navy. The main battle is on land where ukraine is losing badly. The only reason the Russian navy was withdrawn is because a few of their ships were attacked by drones. Go peddle propaganda somewhere else. This is the adults only channel.

    • @MrSphandor
      @MrSphandor День назад +1

      I agree that there is a great deal of propaganda from both sides. In regards to naval battles yes Ukraine doesn't have a navy really and any direct engagement with the Russian black sea fleet would be a disaster. Accordingly they are attacking using drones and achieving some success with these though I'm sure not as great as they say. And I'm sure when the day comes the black sea fleet will attack and prove a powerful asset. Ultimately if things continue as they are Russian victory is inevitable. The question is will things continue as they are? Will Russia continue to grind through the most of their young men and this is something I believe is underreported. Attrition tactics work but can Russia afford to keep doing it? Is the prize worth it? Even if victory is achieved soon what then? Your think the Ukrainian people are just going to settle down to be Russians again?

    • @jasonbauter2512
      @jasonbauter2512 День назад

      @@MrSphandor Well first off the Russian ministry of defense has reported approximately 70,000 dead Russian soldiers from the special military operation. So I would say that sacrificing 70,000 to achieve 600,000 Ukrainian dead is maybe not great, but still puts them ahead in light of the fact that the whole purpose of the SMO is to eliminate ukraine's fighting ability. Russia has 150 million people, a military industrial complex that is out pacing the west seven to one across the board. This conflict will end with ukraine's unconditional surrender when their western donors run out of equipment to send them. After the Kursk incursion, the Russians will not negotiate with ukraine at all. The terms of the surrender will be land concessions leaving ukraine landlocked giving up all traditional Russian lands including Odessa and the Donbass region. They will have a pro-Moscow puppet government. They will not be allowed to join nato. There won't be a big occupation. They will find people in what's left of ukraine to rule their own people. The Russians, unlike americans, are not interested in fighting an insurgency for thirty years.vI hope this helps.

    The Kursk "masterstroke" saw the Ukrainians penetrate over the border to a maximum depth of 9 miles over a front that was at its maximum 6 mil;es wide...and this was not into the teeth of Russian defenses ..This attack was NOT made into the Surrovikin line ..It is empty rural lands...One Americasn miltiary observer compared it to the remotest areas of Arkansas. The Kursk salient is presently about 5 miles deep and 5 miles wide..the Russians are in no great hurry to "squeeze" it out so long as the Ukraininas continue to burn men and material trying to hold it open. Western "reporting" (scare quotes around 'reporting' are entierly appropriate here) is , as always designed to inflate an emotionally charged narrative that dosent truthfully represent the material situaltion on the ground.

    What is "true" in so called " Ukr's victory in the Black Sea " is the evidence of the vulnerability of surface war ships against cheap sea and air drones, combined with anti-ship missiles.
    And Which country bases its power in an astronomical huge and extremely expensive surface fleet, which has become very vulnerable with those new low-cost technologies (for example in Red Sea) ??? Which country ? ... a clue it is not Russia

    Western "Experts" and sometimes Nato Generals, have no understanding of Russian military strategy. Russia does not fight like USA or European armies, which is probably why Russia defeated Napoleon and Hitler's armies. Let these Nato Generals have their day in the sun, because it will be short lived. They dont understand that for Russia this is a small border conflict and they are backed by MILLIONS of Russian people across their territory. Russia will defend itself against the toy soldiers bristling with medal s for just putting in time. As an example USA was defeated by Vietnam and Afghanistan, think about that. Russia is not a weak adversary.

    • @justarandomname420

    The Black Sea 'victory' is, as you pointed out, mostly political since the Russians simply put their ships out of range of attack but still use them for cruise missiles as always. To not disrupt shipping is a political choice by the Russians. If this was an all out war the Russians would deny all ports in Ukraine.

    • @JCDenton3

    Ukrainian recruiters admit that: “We’re not mobilizing even 20 per cent of what is required.” Plus, as one article reveled: "Ukrainians are resorting to extreme lengths to flee the war." Those who wanted to fight Russia volunteered to do so at the start of the war. There are very few men left in Ukraine who wish to do so.
    As for the few they can find and force to the front: "training is so deficient, they must often devote weeks to teaching them basic skills, such as how to shoot." As admitted "they will be sent there to just die.”
    What has been predicted since the start of the war is becoming true. Russia's manpower advantage will decide the war. It's only a matter of time. Ukraine volunteering to "fight a war to defend Western hegemony" is only going to end in "a disadvantageous peace."

    This is a very excellent podcast and it needs to be seen by all tax paying Americans,,, it's a very sad situation happening in Ukraine . I look at it like this I know the history pretty well of Russia and Eastern Europe and they have been fighting one another and each other for years I think pretty much almost everyone in Europe has tried to invade Russia or fought with it and against it there's always some old score to settle are some other reason. I just looked at it like Russia is trying to protect its citizens by securing their border and I simply look at this scenario as how would we in the United States like it if Russia built a military artillery missile base in Mexico on the border with Texas across from Laredo . In the Cuban missile the Russians saw United States concern with missiles to close to their borders and how that would really be a threat to the United States security. And after negotiations the Russians saw the logic and remove their missiles and ship them back to Russia I just try to keep it simple and that's the way I look at this whole thing and Russia has for many years they asked over and over for NATO to stay out of Ukraine and almost begged Ukraine stay neutral . They weren't over and over that this was a threat to their security. But as we can see in NATO has become an aggressor and is definitely provoking the Russians. Into war. And if they're not careful NATO and zielinski will get us all killed Ukraine is not worth the destruction of our only home this beautiful Earth we were blessed with . And then I look at Ukraine it is a corrupt one of the most corrupt countries in the world. And its leaders zelensky there's really nothing but a autocratic dictator but now if the Russians were going Adolf Hitler goose steppin. And trying to blitzkrieg over Europe . Invading one country into the next . Of course that would be a real threat to our allies in the United States and I would see the need to go on a all out war offensive to drive them back. But all I see right now is Russia trying to protect its citizens by securing their border like I wish Kamala Harris would have for the United States

    Is easy to see from the start. It is hard to provide constant support and resupplies there. The timing was also extremely bad, as the winter is coming. Now, whatever NATO and Ukrainian forces are stuck there will freeze and starve to death unless they surrender. You can see Zelensky's stance change, he wouldnt seek a ceasefire before 2025 otherwise. Putin will capitalise on this timeframe and not let Zelensky walk away again.
