I think the exterior is very nice, especially the front end which is different but better looking than the Tiggo 4 Pro we get here in Australia. We also have a different dash (Twin screen) and different front seats that I don't like the look of, plus we have a CVT transmission, not DCT. I'm very surprised that there's so many substantial differences.
One thing you cannot deny about Chery is that they want their slice of the pie and they are getting it. The Tiggo range is really doing well. It'll be very interesting to see what they bring next.
Please review the new 2024 Haval Jolion Pro. Similar price range and also comes with a DCT transmission. Would be interested to hear your opinion on how they rival each other. Great review ! New Subscriber here

The CVT doesn't come with a Turbo charged engine it's a 1.5 Natural aspirated engine so it definitely will be higher than a turbo charged version depending on your atmosphere like from coast line to in land so yeah

I love the luxury interior of this car, the nice tech but the rear & behind kills me. I constantly stare at them on the road and crave that interior but the rear and back will just make me feel betrayed by my choice.

The reason why it has more sales than haval is because the entry level price is very low. Otherwise this is a cool car. Don't use android auto when playing sound, use Bluetooth, thank me later. Sunroof is useless, that thing burns the face and nuts when possible.

Think again before you buy this vehicle. It's nice a first but when things go wrong it costs a LOT. when a headlight globe blows, you can only have it replaced at a dealer. A simple do at home job now costs thousands at a dealer. Bad engineering
I have the Elite SE CVT - and fuel consumption isn’t great at 9.5l/100km. I hoped the DCT could do better than 8.5l/100km though. Agree with you on the instrument cluster that looks very budget. I’m not keen on get piano black either as it scratches easily. Love the drive though! Love the exterior! Love the features! But I’m worried about that warranty and what it excludes. I’ve seen so many things being excluded when things go wrong that Chery refuses to cover. Maybe more investigation needs to be had there?
