Sample size depends upon customer requirements. But MSA calculation with more samples gives more accuracy of E, PFA and Pm.

Why we perform MSA on part rather than performing it on slip gauges. If our sole purpose is to check the accuracy of our measuring instruments then it is better to perform it on slip gauges to eliminate part to part variation . Also it is stated that we perform MSA for instrument not for the part .
