I think one of them got arrested because one of them is a fellon and was not suppose to own a firearm but was filmed using one.

1500 rounds for 30 guns is not a lot. I would have at least that per weapon.

You have to admit the world isnt getting any better. I wouldnt make it a were all gonna die scenario but teaching them the skills could be the difference between life and death if they were to get lost or something bad actually happened and dad didnt make it.
Who in their right mind would think that renting a storage unit would be the answer to your stashes!!! The monthly rental fee alone makes it Impractical!Let alone trying to get to it after the SHTF Scenario.....
I have a 7x10 storage unit and it's about 75$ a month now I don't have preps or anything in it other then some furniture but there's definitely room in there for it and it may be gated and a 10 min drive but when there's a will there's a way

Ah, hello. Far, Far, Far longer than 12 months!!!!! So what are you going too do know????? People keep going on the fact the sea level is going too rise!!!!! Ok, yes it is. BUT, and here’s the big BUT, It’s already been that high in the past. Ok, take Harlech Castle. It’s a golf ⛳️ course away from the sea. Let’s say 1 1/2 miles away, Ok. Harlech Castle 🏰 as high up the cliff it’s on. I think the steepest road in the world or something. It actually has a dock for the ships too unload at LEAST 3/4 the way up the cliff. So you look at the sea position now, as too then. Of course sea levels are going too rise, as the sea has already been up that far. What goes around comes around. I also remember a few years ago, watching this scientist telling us, we are still coming out of the last Ice Age!!!!!!!! I think it was a BBC program. The earth, just like the sun ☀️ has a rhythm. We’re just along for the ride basically. 🤷♀️🙏🇬🇧💖🤷♀️🙏🇬🇧💖👍👍🧠🧠
I run them all over the country as part of my continuity protocols as "safe houses". Don't see the issue with them for the real likely scenarios we are facing and will face.
Just make sure if you have bunks and such they are broken down, don't look like someone might live there and certainly camouflage your supplies, which is easy to do. Plus you can also store all the useless junk you've hoarded all these years 😅
Yes the overhead adds up but that's the price I pay for options and it gives me the most important option, the ability to adapt. Most "preppers" are deluding themselves keeping their supplies in their homes. History shows us the government can and will seize hoarders goods and I guarantee there's little to zero people who can effectively protect their supplies, from any enemy but especially the gov. 👍

The more I see these episodes, the more I'm convinced that these people have anxiety and other issues going on in their lifes, and they use all these prep efforts to try to have control over something.

Anyone that knows the Lady from the "Armageddon Inn" and hungry in such a event, will take what she has. She broke the first rule...NEVER talk about your supplies outside of family. And family members should know to keep quiet also.
Her goal was always to help people. She most likely knows that might mean bandits will gravely harm her. The Armageddon Innkeeper probably has made peace with it.
I think all these preppers have great ideas, and will be far ahead of the rest for their efforts. Best episode yet, producers!

Rule of thumb for ammunition, if you know exactly how many rounds you have, its not enough!!

What?! Just think what inheritance we leave them. School shootings, pandemics, species extinctions, extreme weather, and climate weirding and diminished access to safe water to drink. I think it realistic to involve kids at the degree they can understand. The skills and self reliance they get will serve them well above others who have had it incredibly handed to them.

Something everyone should take away from this. A lot of ex military vets are preppers. Now that could just be, what they have seen, or can imagine after service... But, some of the most capable people in the world are prepping. Prepping for the inevitable I believe.... Somehow, someway.

Believe it or not thats what we were taught during the cold war. I remember running duck and cover drills in the 80's at school. Grab your blanket get under your desk with your face to the floor and wait for the all clear.

The experts missed the most critical problem with the "Armageddon Inn", her husband is not onboard with her. If her prepping does cause friction in their marriage, that will just create more problems if a crisis does happen (let's all hope that what she's prepping for doesn't happen).
As for the girl in Haiti recused 15 days after the earthquake, I'd like to know what her source of water was. You can go for several weeks without food, but my understanding is that 15 days is well beyond how long we can survive without water even in ideal conditions.

Interesting how a lot of the televised preppers seem to focus on ONE scenario. When the real SHTF, its probably going to be a SERIES of these scenarios coming together in a longer timeframe to trigger and amplify other scenarios. EX: climate change leads to failed crops, leads to famine, leads to pandemic, leads to political upheaval, leads to war, leads to nukes/emp etc....
What would be the point of war lmao that one doesn't make much sense. If the other countries are experiencing the same thing invading them in anyway or fighting them is going to be pointless they have nothing same as we would and most countries at fjrst would probably be trying to control their citizens and stop looting and violence until it gets uncontrollable
I made two small Faraday cages with large tins that held cookies originally!! Put all the electronics in a plastic bag and then put it inside the giant cookie tin.. frs & gmrs + cb walkie talkies..(4 ft telescopic antennas that can be attached..10-15 Mile range .) & A crank -solar am /fm radio receiver..
I noticed John is using glass bottles as targets, I hope he is teaching his children to pick up the broken glass so small animals don't cut their feet. Survival is rough enough without fools and inconsiderate people making it worse.
They are better off collecting the glass and using it as a base layer along with broken pottery in pots to grow medicinal herbs in.
But all jokes aside I remember the 70's and 80's and air raid drills at school and trips to the air raid shelter under the gym.
I cant imagine trying to take a walk when some looney toon comes over to grill me about survival techniques lmao

The only issue with Janet is the types of food she hides… Most pre-packaged foods or bioengineered oils don’t last long. Also, she needs to understand long-term food storage.
Sure she could pair up with seed guy, and sustain their family until the seeds grow to crop. Plus the hundreds of people who will pass through for apocalypse stew.

ikr, sometimes feel that prepping mentality welcomes their prepping-efforts to bear fruits instead of actively aiming to avoid certain situations, like spreading awareness and kindness so it won't come to conflicts for example. Sure sounds naiive, but most people are decent and reasonable, with rare cases who would do harm without purpose.
Like the mentality to leave a better world for our children, but not even thinking about leaving better children for our world.
You have a point if kids going to school these days have no fear of a shooter, nor is it uncommon in a bit g city that public places become scenes of snipers or shooters.

Doomsday inn has no water storage, zero security and no way to decon people exposed to fall out. All serious issue's. Also telling people to show up unprepared is a horrible idea. If a few people know that you prep and tell you "I'm showing up at your house" Your response should be okay, I expect you to come with X, amount of food, water purification, medications, santiation needs as well as a handgun, and rifle with X amount of ammo. They should also have a medical kit for minor care and traumatic injuries. If not, don't bother showing up. You will be turned away. If they make an effort and lose the supplies, then do your best to help them.
. Unlike the guy with 30 guns and 1500 rounds of ammo. That realistically covers 1 guns with some training for a person. 500 minimum for a handgun and 1000 per rifle is bare minimum I've heard from most people. Bolt guns and single shots, 250-500 rounds. He also had very odd choices of .410 for a shotgun. In the current market it's nearly impossible to find and low powered considering the shell. 12 ga or 20 ga at a minimum for medium-sized game. 22lr is great but 1000 rounds wouldn't even take up a 1/4 of an ammo can. Very limted supply for the use he is stocking up for. 2 boxes of bulk 22lr is over 1000 rounds and about $40/ea. When this was recorded it was like $9
1500 rounds of ammo. he is either lying or woefully unprepared.
It's much more likely that a single dirty bomb would be exploded first to assure the build works, perhaps with some non-radiological substance first, maybe a bag of fentynl, to ascertain spread and still create a level of fear. Then, if the test is good, set off the dirty bombs 1 to 3 days later.

People have been talking about doomsday for hundreds of years. These people are prepping for some fantastical doomsday but are in complete denial of the actual existential threats that are on the horizon.

BUCKET with a garbage bag inside. Put a cushy toilet seat on it. And use pet bedding to help keep down the smell. Sprinkle some wood shavings in there and on top each time you use it

Most people fail to understand 1500 rounds in NOTHING! Especially when it comes to hunting, practicing on targets, sighting in your guns, scaring off bigger more dangerous animals and all that.. Plus you'll need fishing equipment, lots of lures and line, a couple good rods and spindles. And plenty of knives!! Knives for chopping wood, sawing, throwing, shaving, skinning, cutting meat, chopping bushes/plants.. Yeah I mean one gun and one knife ain't gunna cut it especially if you aren't even trying to invest in ammo!!
