This is the first time in over a year, anyone spoke of price gouging;therefore, corporations get away with it.

lowered drug prices my ass, here in the UK, it's £7 a vial, if you are working. If you are not working it is FREE!
The US has a long way to go, especially when the US drug companies sell their drugs to the UK at a fraction of the price to what you guys pay.

So let's get this straight.... Sherrod Brown is angry that prices are going up because of wild Democrat spending spree in DC since 2021, and then blames businesses for reacting to the inflation that he himself had a major part in.
    And some people believe it.

too many buy the "corporate greed" garbage. I suspect many are online activists because every time the money printing point is made, they either ignore or say it doesn't matter. NGO democrats work to flood comment sections with Democrat Marxist talking points

The narrative that the inflation we are seeing is due to “corporate greed” doesn’t make a lot of sense.
1st we are to believe that ALL companies are raising their prices for no reason ALL at the same time.
Secondly, we have to believe that inflation caused by bad economic policies is a myth.
And Thirdly, we must believe that companies are not struggling, even though we see almost every business closing locations and many going out of business completely.
Some “may” be gouging, but the vast majority aren’t.

Yes indeed. Companies have to get what they need to keep the doors open. People have to get what they can, while they can, because none of us know how much longer this marionette and his handlers are going to be 'in charge'. They don't know if they can count 81M votes again....notice I didn't say 'count on'. If they replace him, they probably won't have to, because more actual people might really vote for whoever fills that slot......unless they do something dumb and shove word salad Kammie further into the spotlight. Then they might have to count more......I don't think her own people like her, even when she's passing them the doobie they're sharing. C'mon man, you know they do.......no one talks like that, without some inducement. Just sayin'.

_we have to believe that inflation caused by bad economic policies is a myth_
Inflation is *completely* a product of bad monetary policy, a.k.a. "Printing Money" which is what we're currently doing.

Well sir, why not provide a list of companies and their true cost increase and what actually are increasing prices by? Ever run a business sir? If not, how do you claim to know so mucking fuch about this? Here is a hint sir - fuel cost. The increase in fuel is not a one time increase. Every time a product or part of a product is moved, it adds cost. A product with say, seven parts, gets how many price increase before hitting the final assembly area. Add in labor cost. Take CA as on example. Hamburger dude hire gets now $20 per hour. However, what about employees working at Hamburg joint that have worked themselves from initial hourly pay to now. Employee working long enough to be paid $20 hourly needs his wages to increase also. To be truthful, each company therefore actually has different cost increase. Oops, sorry, I used a improper word “truthfully” . The jury will forget that word.

Good report on big business taking our money. I'm looking forward for more action to be taken to protect our citizens from price gouging. Seems like the middle and lower income families are always the victims of the corporation and rich.
