as a comedy nerd also... the thing he said about vinyl comedy records making a comeback was so weird to me. it's such a niche media to make a comeback, like old blue porno albums. who does it cater to? i suppose for the people who want to pose with their taylor swift vinyl on instagram, like he describes also. but i can't let go of this thought, something about it is so odd to me. i'm pretty sure there was a hard times article about an audiophile who only listens to the rogan podcast on vinyl a few years ago.
Yeah I don't fully understand this either, but comedians are already starting to do it so why not? If there's a market then we will press for it. Rogan sucks as a comedian but he's really good at doing podcasts so maybe that joke isn't too far off from reality. People have put much less interesting things on LPs.
It's like asking why someone would drink bourbon instead of gin because they both have alcohol. It's tastes and flavors. Some people enjoy the physical objects that accompany releases as objects/art. The acquisition, collecting, and use of each niche media is it's own experience with it's own characteristics.
Congratulations on Helios Pressing. This is going to be a game changer for not only underground metal but for noise/industrial also.
can confirm - getting up early + exercising + consistent fasting works, good on yosuke
we need same festival/lineup in europe!
I always knew that someone gonna put metal x noise
best way
Amazing episode.
Little correction: Vulcano did record "Witches Sabbath" in studio for their '88 album.
