I have Acheron, Firefly, Ruan Mei, Dan Heng IL on my account and I was thinking about getting sparkle in the next banner then wait for liangsha / feixiao ... What do you guys think ?
I've been told to forget about Feixiao as I don't have aventurine or Robin, but I think she synergizes well with the new march 7th ...

Ratio does not deserve 0.5 and neither does Kafka/Black Swan anymore. My Jingliu team clears faster than my friends DoT team despite his DoT team having more Eidolons on p2 of MoC 12. My Jingliu clears in 2 cycles while his DoT team takes 3 and i don't even have Robin to put with Jingliu. E1/S1 Jingliu, E6 TY, E1/S1 RM, E1/S1 HH > E2/S1 Kafka, E1/S1 Black Swan, E1/S1 Robin, E1/S1 HH. If i had Robin over RM i could maybe even 1 cycle. So the fact both Kafka and BS are a 0.5 tier above Jingliu is kinda a joke at this point. DoT has fallen off. Also no way does RM remain 0.5 tiers above Robin. I don't have her and i hate it. Robin is soo much better for every team other than Break so idk how the F RM is still 0.5 above Robin.
1. Robin and Ruan mei arguably performs the same in broad spectrum of teams (i got both; both at e1 also)
But it’s the fact that ruan mei is so easy to use, and dont require that much investment (im talking particularly the ease when picking lightcones cause my robin has to have the signature in order to recover energy and work on par as ruan mei, using a 3 star 4 star smth cone, and just building break and 120 speed for the plannar and whatever she slaps).
Robin on the other hand i’d say has potential, to get moved up. Since with the trend of more and more follow up units from the IPC and the fact that feixiao is coming, bringing the high-frequency meta with her and also march 7th.
I do think they offer very similar perfomance and support capabilities, but the ultimate ease of use and the unique break time delay over advance (there’re other advance support, like sparkle, bronya; and some dps can advance themself, and even buff their own attack)
so as much as i love robin and the shenanigans i can do with her using gallagher and march 7th to proc concerto dmg :)))
i’d say ruan mei deserve tier 0
@@cvang_el Robins 0 cycle ability is well beyond RM. While true over the course of 3 or 4 they even out due to the buffs not really being that far off from one another, Robin is defiantly the 0 cycle queen of star rail. Imo the char that deserves tier 0 is the char that can clear in the least amount of cycles, and that's 100% Robin. I wouldn't mind having them both, but due to the fact they are only allowing one i'd put Robin over RM overall.
Jiaoqiu has also shown the ability to match RM and Robin both in a 3 cycle clear from tests that i've seen done. But he most certainly won't be tier 0. Likely not even tier 0.5 despite the fact he's the BiS for the best DPS in the game. Jiaoqiu = Robin in best teams aka Acheron and Firefly. Jiaoqiu = Robin outside of those teams. Yet watch there be an entire tier between them.
2. Your point regarding Jingliu’s power level coincides identically with what i have in mind with Danheng IL
These days i rarely use him, and like it’s kinda anti-synergistic to use him with robin since she prefer more frequent action units (dr ratio, hunt march 7th, aventurine, gallagher, and dot units! with their highspeed nature)
same with point number one, you can clear a cycle faster with a prime destruction dps, than a very invested dot team solely does not make them deserve a tier higher.
and i’d say the next patch has the hoolay, and lot’s of enemy with lightning and wind weakness
And even regarding the sidegrading/ powercreeping nature of gacha games,
Kafka’s standing strong in her own niche, with swan there being both unique and powerful
against the testament of time
And i’d also argue that this team may havent even reached its full potential yet. Dot units usually build high speed and attack and ignore the crit (any sub is appreciated).
but you see that buff in divergent universe that allows dot to crit
so there’s a possibility for a future harmony/nihility/sustain allows dot to crit
then the damage ceiling will only go up
about jingliu and danheng
pure damage, crit ratios on steroid and superb attack
all make them kinda hard to improve since their stats and power level are already so so saturated. The ceiling’s hardly be raised any further.
and acheron being a nihility already doing more damage than jingliu and danheng IL
so it’s inevitable that they stay where they are honestly
(Unless there are stats or potential mechanics to raise their damage ceilings even higher that i missed, then
it is what it is)
also not to mention these turn based game will be more and more of a racing game, where advances, high speed is rewarded and enemies getting faster and faster
so destruction units relying on doing one big chunk of damage, and relying on supports to buff their speed/ advance them would feel very limited and prone to be powercrept by a future dps being both stronger and faste)
Remember in their criteria this list is based on no signature lightcone. If they we’re accounting for that then alot of things in this list would be different.
@@cvang_el The tier list is about this MoC tho, nothing about future ability. I agree DoT has a future, but they are simply not tier 0 atm. The tier list is about MoC and the others but the one i am on about is MoC. If a char clears the MoC faster, they should not be a lower tier than chars they clear faster than, that just makes no sense.
