Today, we got information about the long-awaited event in Dragonspine, which will be in version 5.2. On top of that, we also received news about a rerun in that patch, which hints at something bigger than you might think! So in this video, let's discuss the new event in 5.2, the banners, and the new character.
If you played the last summer event in version 4.8, you know that Wanderer got a new friend: a cute dragon named Durin. "Then what?" you might be thinking. The thing is, Durin is a dragon that was killed by Dvalin five hundred years ago. And guess where his body lies? In Dragonspine!
In the same summer event in Simulanka, Albedo noted that Durin's heart was slowly revitalizing and could potentially revive in the foreseeable future. You get the point, right? The main event is set in Dragonspine, where Durin is buried, and with a Wanderer rerun, which hints that he might participate in this main event. Plus The game has already hinted that Durin might be revived.
But it doesn't end there. We can also predict which other characters might appear in the 5.2 banners, so let's take a look at the confirmed info and speculate a bit.
According to insiders, version 5.2 should feature two new characters. The first is a 5-star Anemo bow user, Chasca. She will be able to fly, and her kit involves changing elements. We also have a 4-star character, Ororon, who is an Electro bow user. Considering that we have some info about Chasca's kit, it’s likely that she will appear in the banners.
So, we have Chasca as a new 5-star and a Wanderer rerun. What about the other two characters?

I feel like Genshin should introduce 3 banners per run, because by now it's too many characters and not enough time to run them.

I would like something like the weapon banner, so 2 characters on each banner and you can lose and still get the other limited char for example
I feel like we really should be able to buy older four stars and be able to buy more starter cons. I feel like I missed out on Lisa cons purely because you can only get them once per 6 months
The new star rail multi banner is crazy considering the amount of characters relative to genshin and yet we still go so long without reruns here
they had already a solution to the problem but they only had it for 3 weeks and never again. The chronicled wish was really cool, they could've made it so it lasts 6 weeks, and changes every version.

My jaw dropped at Dragonspine. I need a resolution to that Simulanka prophecy about Durin, further development for Wanderer, and, most importantly, more of Albedo in action. The last Albedo event was one of the best side-story updates, arguably only second to either of the GAA patches. But if something as important as Durin is involved, the story MUST be made permanent. Maybe Act 2 of Albedo's SQ

I wanted wanderer for a long time but missed both of his banners. I am really excited for his rerun!!
Plus point. He is “easy” to build because all you need is CR, CD and ATK. With a CR weapon you only need to get like 20 CR for him to be at like 80CR…. But, hoyo just really dislikes his artifacts. I swear I have seen the same, DEF main stat. Hp, HP% Def sands more then 30 times by now

The only way I can see it happening is if they made it so you can get the weapon without any further refinements. So you'd be stuck at R1 if you didn't originally get the weapon.
But I do find it obvious that they won't rerun a LIMITED WEAPON. And I believe that people who already have festering would be pissed off. Because it's exclusivity makes them feel special. The sad truth is that they'll probably receive backlash for rerunning them. (Which is a shame because I kinda do want the fish claymore)
Ngl, signature weapons are pretty worth it now. I'd recommend you get Furina's actual weapon at this point.

Yo, to be honest, I thought Klee was going to introduce us to Dodoco's Bomb-Bastic Escapes, the sequel to dodoco fantastic adventures, but unfortunately, she was too busy blowing stuff up. So, instead, lisa instructed the honorary Knights to introduce us to the game which is fine.
As a Klee main it disappointed me 😢

The devs already stated that the main story advancing through Archon Quests will be in 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3. So no Archon Quest in 5.2.

@@陈明年 Wanderer "didn't sell well" because his fans already knew he will become playable and saved for YEARS. Even I saved up as much as possible and got three 5*s on his banner, the most I ever had lol. Same with Eula's rerun, everyone who wanted her saved for her instead of spending money.
Last time I'd pulled on Arlecchino's banner and lost, and then got Wanderer who I'd also wanted. Hopefully this time I get Arlecchino!!!

personally i think there's gonna be changes to the chronical wish once in comes to 5.2
previously there was a rule that a character needs to have had 2 reruns before being a chronical candidate, and its regional based. The regional based concept in itself is very niche and specific. besides we still got characters like shenhe and ganyu who haven't gotten a rerun in ages. Ganyu is already a chronical candidate but shenhe isnt. shenhe has only had one rerun so far. quite crazy consider how old of a character she is. Yet there is still no signs of her rerun despite her and ganyu getting new skins during the last lantern rite. So either this upcoming chronical will be liyue based or they wont make it regional/decrease the 2 rerun requirement to 1.
You can get Ganyu on the standard banner if your lucky

Nice, i hope they also do for other characters like Itto and Layla village's. We saw their kins or mentioned before in lore but rarely or never seen them before. There's also the land where the losers of the archon war exiled
I think an event where you get to choose your banners to pull from would be EPIC. Imagine picking what 4/5 stars to wish for.

In addition to the first banner characters they run, the second banner character should switch weekly/bi weekly running 3-6 different characters per update. I feel that would appease me and keep me coming back for constellations that would other wise take me years to collect.
