this is a really well thought out theorycraft! i like how the units seem like they would actually play different from just using a brave sword or something.
I always thought that Gauntlets could easily get into FEH so this theorycraft is really fun to me. Not only do we now have two games with it as a weapon type, but unlike beast units, they have infinite possibilities. Due to its nature of being a specific ability of a character, beast units always have to be a specific group of characters. However, gauntlets are a weapon that anybody could pick up. Not only can anybody in 3H or Engage can reclass to a gauntlet class and start punching fools, but it can easily be put into any sort of seasonal banner, regardless if the character is from 3H/Engage. Think of the Flame Tribe banner last year. The whole paralogue story revolved around a wrestling tournament, but for some odd reason, everybody was wielding weapons. It would not only be in character for characters in that banner like Rinkah to pick up gauntlets, but the context of the seasonal gives other characters like Lyn or Tana a reason to get a gauntlet. I hope the reason they've been delaying Framme and Base Caspar and Raphael is because they're planning to introduce it. Anyways, nice theorycrafts!
