This kid is very special.. and I have followed him in his channel in RUclips since he was 10 years old. He performed in the voice kids,Germany last year after he was audited by Skype so that why he always humble and talked only the local own town show. He met "the joke " singer from his school program so that why he respects all support him...

Wow! He's 14 years old and singing since he was 2 ... he's spent 12 years paying his dues. No wonder he has that unique and talented voice! Despite his apparent nervousness, I feel he brings confidence and security into what he does so very, very well; that makes me feel I could listen to him for a very long time.
Wow I didn't know he was on stage paying his dues since he was 2 thanks for that information. Grace Vanderwaal was writing songs since she was 3 but she only got on a coffee shop stage with 20 people in the room a couple of times before AGT. She sang with the same confidence
Well that just goes to demonstrate that there's a whole lot of talent around, doesn't it! But it always boils down to this for me: who are you going to listen to for a very long time? Still further, it's not how often I listen to a particular singer whose voice I really like; it's what singers do I keep going back to over and over.
Example: INXS wrote a song Don't Ask Me Why. Nice song, right! Well, this big fat kid from Wales named Ash Morgan appears on The Voice UK some years ago and knocks it out of the ball park. You never hear of him anymore but for me it's the best version of that song I ever heard ... and I keep going back to listen to it every now and again because Ash Morgan does such a great dynamic job and really brings it out.
@@richardplante1229 An AGT vocal coach once said many talented people come on the show but once the show is over they've got nothing and it takes too much time and money waiting for them to get something to record. People like Brian Crum practice 4 songs for a couple of years getting it perfect before they go on the show while the original singers like INXS write the songs practice a few times then hit the tour circuit. People with talent and nothing to do but sit around practicing the same song over and over again after work always end up looking better. Grace Vanderwaal wrote and composed "Beautiful Thing" and sang it a week later on AGT the same night Brian Crum sang Queen's "Some One To Love" people didn't know Grace wrote that song last Tuesday or that Brian has been sing that song since he was 16 now he's 28

@@Calers-gu1ib Beni sang at least 4 songs that he wrote on the show. He didn't win, but he did get signed by Syco Music (Simon Cowell) and Arista Records (Sony). I would say he did alright!!

Why is everyone in the comments acting like Benicio is spoiled or like he doesn’t care!? He knows that he did other things before but AGT is the biggest thing he has ever done! And he is saying that he only performs in coffee shops in his own town! He didn’t tell them abt the other things he has done bcuz it would seem like he is doing this just for nothing but he is doing this to help his career in the music industry!
They all have done something before AGT it's rare to get an old lady whose never sang Pro or a Grace Vanderwaal

Benicio was on The Voice Kids Germany in 2018 and finished second but was a real crowd favorite. I think a lot of the girls on that show had crushes on him. He is much taller now than he was in Germany. His voice has dropped some but he will drop more after the show. I hope things go well for Benicio. He is a very likable young man.

Benicio has Actually performed on another TV singing show in another country
This kid is not shy, he has been performing live all his life, in front of millions of people, this was not his biggest stage.
A couple of shows is not "All His Life" he's 14, singers have been known to throw up at they're concerts years into their career

What you said about Simon was right on the button. He's a lot different on here than he was on American Idol. He doesn't criticize the performers to be cruel or mean. He does it because he knows they can do better.
AI doesn't allow children on the show, this kid is too young to go on that show, Simon has never been mean to children

You should check out the original singer, Brandi Carlile (car-liile, not car-lily) 😉 She's amazing live, and actually sang this song with Benicio a while back. It's on youtube as well.
Also, her Grammy performance of this song was the BEST of that night. (Also on youtube)

Coffee shops? I don't think so. He sang with Brandi Carlile, onstage Live shows a number of times! They sang this exact same song "The Joke!" Brandi is the original writer of this beautiful song! Benicio, isn't new to the spotlights & being onstage! I don't know why he said: "local Coffee shops" to Terry Crews, before going onstage on AGT! Benico Bryant, auditioned On The Voice Kids at age 13 last year! He came in 2nd place to the winner on The Voice Kids! Benico, played the guitar & sang "Bird Set Free!" All 4 judges turned around for him then they all wanted Benico on their team! It's amusing since they speak German & Benico speaks English! He became and International Star before leaving Germany & well known there! Very talented young man!

diction and pronunciation. Also, I am not aware of what your experience is related to music. Possibly you might provide information pertaining to your involvement in music and any qualifications you might possess such a college degrees or other certificate awarded as a result of your studies.

Don't upset about just he said..in the voice kids in Germany last year, he was recruited by those organization from his channel in you tube and paid the ticket for his family to join that show. ..please follows his excellent performance in Germany
and Slim Lim was on a talent show in Asian, Courtney in a contest in England. They all have perform somewhere they are told to act like they're new. It's rare to get a Grace Vanderwaal
