Technically, there IS a Protoss player. He's just the observer, though. That's why the game is playing Protoss music.

I am not 100% sure but If I remember correctly, when you watch a replay you get a random music as you don't represent any race at all.

I dunno, starcraft 2 classic was solid. My issue with brood war is mainly dark swarm.
Until YOU play it.
Sc1 is clucky as fuck.
CnC1 runs smoother.
Bogus straight gave up this victory with those multiple group of vessel losses. Shit pissed me off.
I enjoy drinking jungle juice while slightly intoxicated. I seem to move a bit looser and faster while not inhibiting my thinking. Inebriated me is about 12-15% better at StarCraft than sober me.

Never get tired watching starcraft gameplay. This game really is the best.
@ 06:50, you sounded unsure about Terran moving out.
The reason why Terran moves out against Z going muta-ling is to draw muta away from T's base and prevent muta from harassing while forcing Z to use up larva into producing zerglings & mutas instead of drones. This buys Terran the time needed for teching towards sci vessel+irradiate.
If you don't move out as T at that time, the muta will fly around your base and pick off units (with good micro) while the lings roam freely to provide vision & cut off any expansion attempts and zerg also gets to drone up and build up a significant econ advantage.

I don't know why I still watch falcon casts honestly. I suck at broodwar, my apm is 50, I haven't played in years, but something about falcon casts is just damn therapeutic. I'm literally watching this right now while having soup.

Bogus was doing amazing but he really dropped the ball with his science vessels. First time he lost a lot to plague + scourge/muta, and the second time he ran them all into JaeDong's awaiting scourge (24:00). To JaeDong's credit, he set both of those up, and placing the scourge there that second time was totally clutch. But still, Flash would never make a blunder like that. And that's what separates the good from the great.
Amazing? Meh. He never transitioned out of bio, which loses most engagements when defiler and ultras are out. Great in the early and mid-game and could win it for you, but once ultras and defilers are out, it's only good for drops.
@@AlexTechie SK terran, which is bio supported by lots of science vessels, is a popular and effective late game build. Unless you lose an entire geyser's worth of science vessels to plague and scourge, that is.

16:18 ‘not too shabby’, another of my favourite falconisms. I think we need a glossary of those.
If I buy over Blizzard, I will implement three changes. First, Infested Terran Splash Damage Range is increased to that of Reaver's Scarab. Second, Sunken Colonies be returned to 400 HP and 1 Armour. Third and lastly, Ultralisks gain base 3 Armour. I have my reasons for this, if anyone wishes to know, just reply here.
Infested Terrans also do full damage while under the Dark Swarm, instead of just Splash Damage.
One more thing: Zealots be returned to 80 HP and 80 Shields.
You got Protoss music because of the observer present.
I find Protoss music works well while casting an episode. Followed by Zerg and lastly, Terran. I love playing the actual game with in the opposite order though, so Terran is my favorite while playing, followed by Zerg followed by Protoss.

Surprised we didn't see a few Valkyries to deal with Scourge. Science Vessels just getting massacred. Scourge seemed very cost efficient.
Valks are terrible against scourge. He just needs to stay near marines.
I greatly enjoy your BW casts. You have excellent commentary, plenty of humor, and highly enjoyable strategy overviews. I don't find you to be overly wordy, and appreciate you keeping the chatter as we watch 500apms in first 10 secs:) also, I find you analyze races with objectivity, while sensing your Zerg main..ohhhhhh the mutas!!"...lol....not as some comment read "biased towards toss". Here's an idea. How about casting a game that you yourself played? I think a lot of people would be interested in seeing your playstyle.
I did cast one right when Remastered came out. It was a ZvZ where I got 6-pooled, held it, and won with hydra/ling. Wasn't that exciting, but if you want the link, I can dig it out.

Grrr Grr scourge deal 110 damage per hit! It only takes 2 to KO a science vessel.
another legal, in my state, substance goes PHENOM. with SC, lol, especially with the music sometimes. Empowering combination, lol. Hell, I do all THREE, one of them being eating/snacking, while watching these, AND go to sleep to casts, too, hahaha, just listening to the action even if not watching, hahaha.

Despite losing, I like that Bogus didn't give up - a lot of times pros GG and I'm left thinking why not keep fighting until there is almost no hope?

Have to be willing to flex to a different build/strategy to close out the late game. When Jaedong went Ultra, Bogus just kept going MM. The tanks helped, sure, but lots and lots of spider mines would've been better. But it's Jaedong, so what can you really do? Maybe some wraiths instead of science vessels would've been better? At least then the wraiths could've done some raiding and score free damage on the lings and ultras.

Radiacion on Ultralisk is almost useless. Just make Ultras been more deadly....Good replay once again. Jaedong is something like my favorite form Zerg species. :)
but when you start DREAMING about SC players and battles, lol, one MIGHT have issues.....sometimes the video playing mid-sleep process in the background BECOME the dreams, hahaha. Or nightmares! Zerg, lol The Overmind truly IS omnipresent, lol. Over mind? LITERALLY too, haha!
With or without ove a ton of mines would've stop the ultra - ling swarm for like a lot! No a single hydra, would've had to make mutas or hydra our Jaedong buddy! :)

The reply was probably saved by the observer so the music is probably random. That's why you are getting protoss music in a TvZ. I think?

Forgive my ignorance here - but wouldn’t Firebats be a good answer for the Dark Swarm’ed ultras?
Firebats damage type deals 25% damage to ultras and they have lots of armor, they do not stand a chance.
wenwen1088 to put crypto's response in numbers for you, fire bats end up dealing 4 damage, before armor. With their armor upgrades, ultras reduce this to 1. Ultras have 400 hp. This actually makes the fire bat the worst unit in the game vs ultras outside of workers. I am guessing an ultra could clean up 12+'fire bats. Additionally, dark swarm affects ranged units, and I believe fire bats are ranged (just short ranged)
24:00 the moment Terran lost. Normally when Terran gets Science Vessels, it's gg for the other race. Just a matter of keeping SV's alive
