Judith Durham, RIP. The world will remember your angelic soprano voice.
Great interview. A beautiful woman just passed. We will miss her wonderful voice with The Seekers but we will miss Judith the person more. Love X.
The music/sound of the Seekers is unique. The music loving world was blessed with having Judith so long. She will long be remembered.
The sound of the Seekers is timeless, simply timeless.
I discovered the group a month ago and it really fascinated me. I listen to you every day. greetings from Argentina
Wonderful interview! You were/are a big part of my life. Your music is timeless. Thank you for everything!
What great people they are, as well as an unmatched & unmistakable sound! There are none better!
Blessed from the day they started Legends Forever
An interview such as this shows how loved this group has been. There is a strange sense of happiness and peace from their simple presence which is quite similar to the one which comes from listening to many of the recordings. Many people actually report such a feeling as comments to their videos in youtube. They are special people, no doubt. They try to highlight commercial aspects of their relation with Tom Springfield, but it seems clear that Tom chose them as the best vehicle for the message within his songs. He even stopped composing after they split up.
Love Judith and the seekers ,just brilliant
Their music is so infectious. Very sad to note that Judith has passed on. RIP. I remember my radio colleagues and I were playing The Seekers songs on air back then on Singapore radio. Judith will be deeply missed n fondly remembered. Thank you The Seekers for your lovely music!
Judith, a humble astounding Aussie talent. And the boys are just great.
Judith is so cute in her love of singing & simply fantastic. The guys are great musicians.
Good interviewer, he gets them all involved. Judith usually does the most talking , so it was really great to hear from Bruce and Keith.
One of my favorite songs from this band.
Magical listening to them after so long away. They are definitely better today, astonishingly!
They are more mature today , though still as comfortable in their music as they ever were ..... but the voice of Judith Durham in her twenties was absolutely outstanding, she delivered every crystal clear note with such power .... there were some really good female vocalists back then, but none quite as good as she was ..... and while she's still clearly in fine voice today , she is mellowing slightly with age .... as they all are.
this is 27 years ago
What a muse Judith Durham was. After listening to her for years I think she should have covered a very much greater number of "classic" pieces of the repertoire.
You know what I noticed? No cords coming out of the guitars and bass during Georgy Girl. Straight acoustic on stage with the voices miked. The 12-string lead sounds very good... and of course there's Judith. What an angel.
Yeah, but in the instrumental, when it looks like the gentlemen are whistling, we hear some kind of a keyboard. I don't think it's a live recording.
many many many singers attempt to sing their old hits and sometimes it's sad to watch BUT judith and the seekers are the exception they sound superb as great as they were 25 years before
YES THEY ARE THE BEST. TIMELESS.
What a pleasure to watch this video
Brilliant song from the fantastic Seekers .... they were just incredible.
❤ Luv this apparently this was a song about her. And did she shed her feathers 🪶 and fly and fly high 😳 Cheers 🥂 to all the Georgy girls in the world may they all fly high in their own special ways 👍
Can't help but notice this was filmed just a couple of month's after Ron passed. A brave and undoubtedly therapeutic appearance by Judith...
I suspect you're right .....
Judith's husband Ron Edgeworth, her accompianist and life partner until her died from Motor Neurone Disease.
I love them.
They were such a fabulous band. I remember my parents being very upset watching their last concert, before they split.
It was very sad for those who loved their music. ♥️
Just great to see!
I'm just now (re) discovering The Seekers with Judith Durham, trying to find everything I can get my ears and eyes on because I love their music and the little cutie Judy lol! I actually subscribed to your channel rich963 for that very reason! Keep 'em coming! Cheers mate!
