I have went through the exact same thing on my main account, got the "Do this again and you'll be permanently muted" message and they never said what I had done. Then I got permanently muted a week later. The mute doesn't last for a year, it's a true permanent mute. I've been perm-muted for over 2 years now.
They did the same with me. One day mute with a message saying the next mute is permanent. No evidence for either mute. If what I said was so bad, why did it only warrant a one day mute?

Once got banned for 3 days for saying the word "ass" in a pest control game. They even showed me the screenshots when i appealed of my character saying it while the person who reported me said "reported XD" and was clearly just trying to troll. Jagex doesnt care about fairness or what the rules say. They feel no obligation to dispense justice fairly and equally. They apply their rules to who they want when they want. Zero integrity involved.
My og acc in 2009 got muted for 3 days for calling someone an asshole, i appealed to say im sorry cause i was a scared kid, then the acc was perma muted LOL

Had 2 perma manual mutes uplifted in the last 6 months. Granted they were uplifted but if i never challenged them then I'd still be muted. They never let me know what i said that determined a mute so I can't avoid it in the future. Also to have b2b perma mutes uplifted surely shows that pmods are abusing their powers to mute people for no good reason.

@@Andr00OSRS just go on your offense list and appeal it if it is appealable. Because you don't know what you've said, just click the made a mistake option. Just make up how you're usually helpful in the community but just speak to in game friends with some tongue in cheek because you don't trust apps like discord for safety. That's the excuse I used, worked both times.

I feel like if you have the blood quarts/ancient staff, its a toss up getting extra 10 hp on the minions is quite good, but thralls ignoring defence is amazing on kree I've done both mostly cause I hate picking up bones but without drops it doesnt change much since bones to peach and blood spells are really just healing you between fights, it saves some brews. but if you bring bp + bloodspells/peaches you'll bne fine healing up between kills if you arent mega unlucky on bp specs, also having death charge is nice since you can sometimes get specs if you do really fast kills. I only do bowfa currently though my highest solo trip was like 30 kills but it was 90% due to food drops not having blood spells

Agreed the system is ridiclously broken, there are certain phrases as you stated that will trigger a gurenteed mute. Now, with a strong understanding of the mechanics, you can actually be toxic to people youself using language outside the filters and bait idiots you are arguing with into saying things that will get them muted. Ngl, I use this trick all the time when people piss me off and I imagine I've gotten a lot of dickheads muted, oh and I never get muted myself for being as insulting, I just know the prohibited terms. So many regarded players in this game.
I got muted for a year for being a bit mean towards a venezuelan player crashing me. Funnily though I could still type etc. even though it said on my account settings that I was still muted.

I got a 18 day mute because the server DC’ed and when I logged in I said “ This game is so Retarded “ and got given a 18 day mute, then the following day I received a 3 day ban for borrowing a Tbow off a friend by Mod ICU for RWT and I had complete evidence of the loan being agreed, the trade everything and they still denied my appeal.
im guessing there doing that in related to Pride month. Certain words that would be offend, they dont want it being exposed as it would create a hateful area to play.

I was temp muted straight in to a permanent mute without even knowing I got temp muted. I barely type in game other than PM / CC so it took a while to realise. Appeal denied instantly, both mutes showing no evidence. Don't think I said anything I hadn't already been typing for years. At some point recently, towards the start of this year (coincidentally when Jagex was trying to sell) it seem like they actually started enforcing mutes again.
Don't really care that much but like you said the mute system is retarded. At least if you get banned it's obvious because you can't login. Only way to tell you're muted other than realising after you get aired is checking your 'mail box' which lets be honest, who the fuck does that?

Nah, yeah, it looks like someone at Jagex got butt-hurt, because I recall there was an interview with one of the decent mods (mighta been Ash, I think) where he said "We know our returning players to Old School aren't kids anymore, so we decided to let people use harsher language, and treat them like adults," or something like that.
Also, I've seen people drop WAY worse things than just *REDACTED BECAUSE I'M AN AMERICAN*, just walking past the GE to get to Edgeville. If Jagex wants to play that game, they may as well mute the thousands of people, of all races, that say *CENSORED BECAUSE I'M WHITE* in CCs, PMs, and general conversations. Might as well perma-mute streamers who stream music that uses the word *REDACTED FOR MY OWN GOOD*, which is in almost every modern rap song, after almost every 3'rd word.

I use to curse a lot and still sometimes curse out gagex in game but im not edgy or curse at players. Never been muted but also you can say people are on spectrum and not get muted. Was getting called that for trying to be social hunting stars. This is not a social mmo unless you are giving what they want or youll offend someone for talking and that may trigger a convo about you.... In last few years since i started on f2p there were few people that i talked to but once moving to memebers i talked to one guy about wilderness junk. Otherwise most of my convos consist of being called a bot when qusting or when i speed farmed my points for slayer maybe the rare question but dont expect your to get answered. The foresty update was pretty social but when they removed it from wc guild it ruined it for me and it was more nonsense like gor but at least people were active in chat.

A while back I got 3 day mute because Odablock had a fashion scape competition and I pretended to be a vegas bot lol. Of course when I appealed the mute explaining I'm not a bot and my text history proves it, they didn't give a shit. Trash ass company won't spend a single penny on customer support. Which I why I buy gold to buy bonds instead of just buying bonds.
I get that 3 day mute must be frustrating, but by buying gold from bot farms you're literally making the game worse, making bots more profitable and botting more and ruining things for everyone else. Fuck you.

Jagex's mute system is a joke. If you have an option to enable/disable muting curse words then you shouldn't be banned for using them unless you're purposefully circumventing the auto-muting of curse words system in game.
Loool join the club I've lost 2 accs 2 permanent mutes. On one acc I was mass reported by bots the mod I talked to said it was 100 reports in 30seconds the only reason it got unmuted is cause it was deemed suspicious
I got a month mute for asking "why are there so many bots here" in WT - Was weird, The bots were having weird AI conversations with each other. Apparently I was muted by a pmod or a jmod - So I assume they are protecting their mates bot farm?

My most recent mute was an automatically triggered mute by the system. My buddy asked in PM what i was doing and i told him i was doing Cox and he said “oh you love Cox” and i replied “lol f@g” and insta muted. I got the same message about next one being perma mute. So be careful because even private messages can trigger the system
