I live in Florida, we do have a will that names the spouse survivor to be transferred directly to them, both names are on the house, bank accounts, vehicles, will we still have to probate the will. We have three grown children and they are in the will as being the next beneficiaries after we both die. My question is will the will need to go to probate and will the banks freeze Our joint accounts.
Hi what do I do my mom passed way in November she lived out of state with my brother he has not responded to any text. I guess I should start a probate but I have no clue how much my mom had in her accounts her house value is 350k I don’t know how much it is payed for. I put the paperwork in with courts guessing at account 500k court suggested surety bond 575k. Unfortunately I don’t have the 3K to pay for the bond should I just get a bond that is less or save for the 3 k by one or what?
