I bought this lawn mower last year and I love it, no problems with it and runs great.
Turn Tight they call it, nearly a zero turn. I use mine sparingly and at low speed. Imagine the stress on the front end when you have it cranked max left or max right with a little speed.

Awesome mower. Friend and I each bought one. I installed inline fuel shutoff valves to drain carb bowl. Also picked up craftsman trickle charger , good investment in long run.

My Craftsman Riding Mower will start when jump starting, but will not when charger is removed and I just replaced to battery. Can you advise?
Not sure what engine you have? Make sure your battery cables are clean and tightened correctly to the battery terminals. You may have a low cold cranking amp battery? (I like to see at least a 250CCA or higher). The battery may be new but it also may be dead? (try slow charging it or replace it). Depending on what the engine is? how old and how many hrs are on the engine, you may need a valve adjustment.
@@JohnsonsSmallEngines I have cleaned and made sure the cables are tightened. The engine is Briggs & Stratton model # 310707, type #0136-EI on a Craftsman riding mower model #917.270670. It has been in service since 2000 and has had regular maintenance by me for oil changes, with the last full service tune up in March, 2023. I also now have an issue with the Attachment clutch disengaging. It appear to be stuck. Is there a video on this, and would you suggest returning the battery of the slow charge doesn't work?
If the battery is new and does not take a charge and if you can jump the battery to make the engine start. I would then suggest, yes take the battery back and get at least a 250 to 300 CCA battery.
