Hi Angeline. We are glad you found what you needed at the right time. Hopefully we get the opportunity to help you. and yes 14-15 is high but fortunately reversible with our help.
I noticed verticle diplopia about 25 years back. Opthalmology people advised prism which worked nicely but now I feel problem in avoiding diplopia after IOL insertion. What are the treatment options for me?
I have a CN4 palsy that they believe is congential. I do have a slight head tilt. I failed my drivers license test and that was when i realized that i was closing my left eye subconsciously any time i had to read. I was put in prism glasses but my prism factor is pretty low. I believe it is a 3? I really want to work to get rid of the prism so i can go back to wearing contacts. Im very active - ski, mtn bike, run, swim etc and the glasses are a major pain..plus my regular vision is terrible (-6.) So my lens is huge and i look like a nerd. Im in PA.

I'm 63 and have very slowly progressing mis-alignment where when I look to the left, I get double vision. I wear glasses for nearsightedness and astigmatism. After a long day at the computer, driving home I see double characters on the highway signs and have to strain to keep the images together. I saw an opthamlogist who specializes in strabismus etc. She dx'd me w/ 4th nerve palsy and wanted to know if I had a brain injury. I've played sports, fallen off bikes and am just a rough and tumble boy but never had a concussion or anything that severe after hitting my head. She mentioned surgery and then gave me the HTS computer vision therapy software which I've completed and feel I've made improvement, but still have the dbl vision and eye fatigue usually late in the day. Wondering if surgery is really an option and what the threshold is where surgery would or would not be a good idea.

Hey, I have a question. I was diagnosed with a damage 4th nerve pals. My question is, does the nerve heal on its own and do I have to do any eye exercises?
4 doctors (2 physicians, an optometrist and an ophthalmologist) told me this frequently goes away on it's own but can take up to 6 months. Did yours go away?
@@joevarga5982 I hit my head twice: once during my graduate years at Northwestern (1980s) and a second time at 48 years of age in Greece. I got double vision both times. The first time normal vision was restored a few weeks after the hit. The second time though not all vision was corrected and I still have double vision over a significant part of my field.
@@JohnParavantis I'm sorry to hear that. Have you considered surgery? I'm a bit concerned about having surgery after watching some videos on here. I've been waiting for improvement of my diplopia for about 10 weeks now. The pain and dizziness has gone away (which is great) but my diplopia has improved little, if any so far. They think that mine was due to an extremely tiny stroke.
@@joevarga5982 no surgery, I have learned to live with it and count my blessings in life. Best wishes to you Joe, for a complete recovery of your diplopia. In my case, it kept improving over the first couple of YEARS, so be patient.

Those glasses make her nose look pinched. But these exercises are awesome
Ha! Sometimes we gotta look ugly to look pretty. 😆
Thank you for the feedback being here Marilyn!
What about the pain does this go away on its own. Thanks for the video
Can you be more specific? What pain are you referring to?
If you have more than minor discomfort pain in your eye it could mean you have a more serious issue.

Can congenital Sixth nerve palsy can be treated by vision therapy. My MRI reports are normal
I also have sixth nerve palsy
@@JaishriJha It can’t be cured but can be helped tremendously
I want my eyes movement smoothly. Can it be possible by therapy or surgery
Hey, I have a question. I was diagnosed with a damage 4th nerve pals. My question is, does the nerve heal on its own and do I have to do any eye exercises?
Generally the double vision will not heal and go away on its own. It requires treatment to retrain the brain how to process vision.
