16:03 Thay's wrong, Pyro. Mojang doesn't produce anything for the Swedish economy. They're a private business, cmon. The reason it's comedically difficult to sue them is because all lawyers and court cases are expensive, taking well over a couple of months to even a couple years to go over everything, and the methods the Swedish Government provide representation in court for people who aren't rich have been poorly maintained. Lawyers won't take the case, not because Mojang actually did anything, but because the guy sueing them can't afford to pay for a lawyer for well over a year or so.
Obviously a private company based in Sweden still produces a lot of value to the country they're in. Because of all the taxes we pay here in Europe, and the jobs they help create in the country, which are all taxed each month as well. They also stimulate the economy in many more indirect ways. So yeah anyways it's pretty safe to bet a multimillion company being based in Sweden is important to the local economy
@@chateauprepus Not as important as manufacturing things such as steel and electronics, which is an industry contributing 20% of Sweden's entire revenue. This stupid assertion. Microsoft is not "stuffing it and its EULA with tons of unnecessary restrictions and bloat." What Microsoft is actually doing is adding the precision and clarity that legal documents require. Just because a EULA is short doesn’t make it any more lenient, and simply adding clarification to vague clauses doesn't automatically make it bad. On the contrary, it's a responsible step for any corporation to draw clear lines rather than leave players to trip over vague terms, which can only lead to confusion and potential legal issues. if you want to see what "mega-corping" looks like, just compare Microsoft's EULA to Roblox's-when it comes to consumer friendliness, Microsoft comes out looking like a saint.

I love the part about gambling because although in the base game of Minecraft you don't have to spend money there is still a sort of gambling system. You collect keys in trials and use them for a chance to get rare items. Is this not just a form of gambling?
I've brain rot to the extent that my brain implicitly brings the 4k UHD picture of Saul Goodman to the forefront each time the word "lawyer" is mentioned

I remember there used to be a server on minecraft you'd go out into a map, collect loot (guns, ammo, etc), fight, and /spawn after waiting like 20 seconds. You had a few ender chests to store your shit. Tarkov would copy that concept 10 years later and nobody knows minecraft actually invented extraction shooters. I was on a shitty laptop so i couldnt really fight anything, so i just collected a good asf ender chest then sold it to become rich instead
The worst part about crate keys on servers is that they have no real world value... if you buy a crate key and even get something good your not getting any money back

The reason Minecraft didn't seem to be getting much hate, the Silent Majority. I am a Silent Quitter for the main Game, I only play modded Minecraft now maybe once every two years. If I had money, I would have helped there, I just shared the link to friends that play minecraft. The Silent Majority often has to be the ones to come out just to help in bad situations, we often aren't aware of problems but often unless someone brings us together. When we have a common enemy, we band together.
Silent minority. The very loud majority of players spend less than 5 hours a week on social media &'just play the game without getting involved in news or drama.
That's interesting. I’m genuinely curious-were you familiar with Minecraft's EULA before this controversy, or are you just jumping on the bandwagon because the other side is a big corporation? I apologize if my tone comes off as harsh, but I do wonder: do you actually have a solid understanding of legal principles here, or are you just reacting to the crowd? If you don't, it’s worth noting that what Microsoft is doing is actually adding the necessary precision and clarity that legal documents require. Just because a EULA is brief doesn't make it lenient or well crafted. Adding clarification to previously vague clauses isn’t inherently negative-quite the opposite, actually. It’s a responsible step for any corporation to clearly define terms, rather than leaving players stumbling over ambiguity. Without this clarity, all you’d get is confusion and the potential for legal headaches down the road. It’s irresponsible not to ensure everything is well-defined. And to actually respond to your assertion, "The reason Minecraft didn't seem to be getting much hate," it's because they are legally justified and have been for quite some time. The EULA and any changes to it are within their rights, and legally, there's nothing groundbreaking about what they're doing. The backlash comes not from legality but from a misunderstanding of how legal documents work. The fact that Minecraft wasn’t facing widespread criticism before only reinforces the idea that they’ve been operating within established legal frameworks, with clear and consistent terms, long before any controversy stirred. So, the anger now is more about the usual uproar when people feel like they're being told they can't do whatever they want-without any actual legal basis for that frustration.
I think it's funny that people think Minecraft has had actual major dips in popularity. It hasn't, not really. There's always a steady player base of children, when Minecraft "comes back" that's mainly just for the older audience picking it back up and playing it again.
What's with the "slop" trend? I don't understand why every video of him everyome just calls it "slop" or "the slop thickens" can someone explain it to me?
This guys video wouldve flopped if mojang werent so against their playerbase. Like could you imagine a yearly vote to choose what new addition there is to the game? And then they do fuck all? I think the last meaningful update was the addition of ocean monuments
I would think otherwise! They’ve had a lot of good updates since then, that actually help the game. Sadly people seem to love to hate the game because Mojang doesn’t add what people think would help the game. A lot of people point towards mods as “look what they can do that mojang can’t” but it’s a load of bullshit. There’s several reasons why that doesn’t make sense. There are reasons behind why the mob vote was the way it was, but nobody wants to hear it because the crab that extends your reach didn’t get added.
As a Minecraft enjoyer, I’d just like to point out that your perspective, the last meaningful update being ocean monuments, is disgustingly upsettingly almost hilariously wrong. I encourage you to play more Minecraft!
@@vaepuer2290 sorry if I was too harsh? regardless, I just don't understand how you find the ocean monument more "meaningful," as you put it, than the overhaul they did of the entire overworlds world generation in 1.18? I love the part about gambling because although in the base game of Minecraft you don't have to spend money there is still a sort of gambling system. You collect keys in trials and use them for a chance to get rare items.
Is this not just a form of gambling?

I remember there used to be a server on minecraft you'd go out into a map, collect loot (guns, ammo, etc), fight, and /spawn after waiting like 20 seconds. You had a few ender chests to store your shit. Tarkov would copy that concept 10 years later and nobody knows minecraft actually invented extraction shooters.
I was on a shitty laptop so i couldnt really fight anything, so i just collected a good asf ender chest then sold it to become rich instead
was it minecraft factions

I recommend everyone to find the book titled The Elite Society's Money Manifestation, It changed my life
whoever on the editing team that was the one who added megaman x6 music in the background you are GOATED.

I think it's funny that people think Minecraft has had actual major dips in popularity. It hasn't, not really. There's always a steady player base of children, when Minecraft "comes back" that's mainly just for the older audience picking it back up and playing it again.
Bro forgot about Carson also helping bring back Minecraft's resurgence.

What's with the "slop" trend? I don't understand why every video of him everyome just calls it "slop" or "the slop thickens" can someone explain it to me?
mojang found Pyros old minecraft videos...
@@Marsycro been playing since beta. put down the thesaurus and talk normal thx
