When she was young journalist, Jeannette Walls used to share the stories of others while being closed off about her life experiences. When she met another journalist that told her to embrace her texture, Jeannette found the courage to publish her memoir, THE GLASS CASTLE. Through sharing the story of her own unorthodox childhood, she found she could connect with others more than she had anticipated.
