It was lowkey INFPs fault tho. He couldn't articulate his thoughts well whatsoever and while ESTJs advice was kinda one sided he had good points that could actually help improve the INFPs life. A well balanced diet with lots of nutritions can work wonders. We are biological creatures after all.
You're right. I'm an INFP myself and sometimes I'm a little fed up with the practical advice people like giving to me unasked. Most of the time I don't even reply anything if I already know that their suggestions wouldn't work for me..
INFP:(listening to mom) Goes to the kitchen Waits a few secondes Comes back And says :I swear I was listening to you, but... I just forgot what you said I have to bring you from kithchen!
What I noticed after watching these videos is that the one who stays in the elevator after the talk and comments on another type is always an introverted person
I think a lot of it is because introverts begin to really function when they're alone, like a sudden burst of inspiration and well thought out thoughts
Oh, they have their moments with the feels, alright. They are just so logical and practical to everyone else that when their feels _do_ catch up to them, it's hell. Rare, but when it happens, it's fairly debilitating to them.
Haha, no we cry sometimes....but we know why we are crying. Even if it’s a stupid hallmark commercial during my period, I’m able to process my stupid hormones are the culprit, lol.
ESTJ here as well, I don’t cry at all. The only exception is during a very strongly emotional scene that I myself have directly related to in the past (example: The Danish Girl - Lili’s Death Scene. I’m a trans girl so it’s very relatable). But that’s it. Family member dies? Crying isn’t going to benefit me or undo what has been done so, no thank you.
This is so accurate 😂 ESTJ are actually some of the best people for an INFP to be friends with. They aren’t fazed by anything, so you can be weird, quiet, argumentative, playful, or anything else around them and they will go along with it, even if they don’t always understand you. I love my ESTJ friends 🥰
Really? Most ESTJ I'm around are really judgemental and demanding. They give you a solution and your force to listen to them and if you don't then you don't have the ability to complain about your problem cause they already "solve it"
As an ESTJ who has been married to an INFP for ages, I can understand the stereotypes, but healthy, reflective persons should overcome this condition at some point.
I'm equally familiar with the INFP's obscure sorrows and the ESTJ's pragmatic approach to them. Probably because their dominant functions are right next to each other in my own function stack and my Fi is sort of strong.
INTJ here as well! One thing I noticed is that we are half of each 😝 IN(FP) (ES)TJ One other thing... My mum is INFP-T and my dad is ESTJ-A. They may have an argument because they misunderstand each other, but I literally understand both of them and tell them what's happening in a way they understand 😂
Indeed. Unconfirmed as my type, but this elevator conversation sounds like me talking to myself almost. I'm definitely more confident giving others _logical_ advice with their problems like the ESTJ here though, and keep the Fi bit to myself to the end of better Te.
Me and my former ESTJ boss on the way to the office... NAILED it! She definitely thought I was slow and a weirdo who could not put a sentence together, especially at small talk. That was actually painful to watch! :) Great job!
INFPs are strongly linked to an avoidant personality. We always avoid confrontation because it hurts our perceptions (too much cognitive dissonance) and because we end up being someone we’re not at all. All that together is more than enough to avoid such emotional turmoil that is gonna make us anxious and sick (er)
well, the only difference between ENTJ and ESTJ (in general) is that ESTJ are more pragmatic, and even though ENTJ is considered as a "commander" and everything, he's still a "logical thinker" so might be pretty theoretical
Hailen Ace i do that just in case no one is around. Then u get the one person running to the elevator. The door is already close to closing. The deadlock eyes: plz wait. Thats the moment: a. Open and wait B. Mash the button so u can take the elevator up alone
Not totally implausible. An ESTJ may see someone in distress and assume it's a physiological issue on some level, or poor mental health. They may recommend a more concrete remedy to the issue, likely something that's been proven, or something they brainstormed from what's been proven.
as an INFP, this totally resonated... my friends always tell me that when they first met me, I show little to no interest engaging in a conversation with them..especially in a group setting and everything is just so sophisticated in my own head when its just..talking to other humans lmao (yes I'm very bad at making small talks with strangers or acquaintances) and because I'm so self-aware that I looked bad for not engaging, I will try starting a sentence and didn't know where it goes...and ITS JUST SO HARD. in conclusion, INFP suffer A MAD LOT in social situations so they'd rather not. 😂
So this is what happened Estj: "Which floor?" Infp: "Ummm... Ten." Infp: explains why he's like that and set an example because he felt the judging atmosphere and felt the need to defend himself strongly. Estj: understood it differently and started talking about his health problems and some ways to solve it. Infp: gets frustrated because he didn't get it but lets it go. All the while contemplating what personality he is by listening and watching his gestures. Estj: bids good bye because that's his floor, still didn't get it. Infp: accurately pin points the personality.
He's right though. Crying is healthier than bottling things up and INFPs know best. But if there's problem to cry about, some help wont ever hurt. For an ESTJ, that's a pretty wise point =)
@@someonerandom713 "For an ESTJ that's a pretty wise point" lmao, quite a lot sensors approach life in a smarter way than some intuitives will maybe ever do.
@@greenguy2372 Dont need to be a fucking asshole he said that because ESTJ is a thinker type and his dominant function is Te so he has an Fi inferior not because he is a sensor. Thats all dont need to be a prick^^
@@greenguy2372 True. I'm not trying to put ESTJs down. If it sounded that way, I apologize. I have the impression that ESTJs in particular are a generally disliked type in the typology realm. Fi is personally directed emotional intelligence. ESTJs have it inferior, INFPs have it dominant. So INFPs deal with their own emotions much more comfortably than ESTJs do. Those ESTJs who do use their Fi like this have overcome a personal weakness. So that's pretty wise for an ESTJ, because not all ESTJs acknowledge emotion like that. Would have been wise for an ENTJ, too. It's about inferior Fi to me.
Green Guy It's a good thing that intuitives created this World for you sensors, then. We shape the World, you work in it. ✌🏻️ "Logic will get you from a to b. Imagination will take you everywhere." -Albert Einstein
This is so accurate. Knowing exactly how you are feeling but not articulating it well, sitting in silence analyzing the situation, the other person leaving and you talking to yourself about then. Perfection.
You're an introvert so you still look like an istj when you do the estj. Estj are more open, smiling or smirking, they look at every details of their interlocutor while he's shying away. But nice work though, thanks for your efforts and the clean fun.
Well, as an ESTJ, who scores with complete extraversion, I wouldn’t necessarily talk to the other person to begin with, however, once the conversation started, I’d be all over them with criticism.
@@Cucababy5 I'm almost like prototype of INTP and I can clearly say that the best fit to this elevator scene would be INFJ. Figuring out if you are one or another isn't that difficult as it may seem. Let me help you. Imagine you are at school/work and you are supposed to do a group work. Would you prefer to cooperate with others (INFP) or do it by yourself (INTP)?
I find the last part to be true, however I am kinda tired of seeing the same depiction of an INFP all the time. Because very often in one one conversations we tend to have the lead and be very comfortable. Also dominant Fi often makes you hide your problems and negative emotions especially in front of a complete stranger. Other than that great video as usual, keep up the good work!
INFJ here, not INFP, but I have the hardest time understanding ESTJs ! Not only do we speak different languages, I find them simultaneously abrasive and unaware unfortunately!
@@manager-nim2623 For me it's not that I can't tolerate them, more that I get so frustrated because normally I adapt to make people feel comfortable, but it feels like there's no getting to ESTJs really...I sometimes have the same issue with other extroverted sensing types, although it's not so bad with ESFJs!
INFP: have you ever just cried for no reason? ENTP: Um...I don’t think...well, maybe I have...actually I’m not sure. Let me get back to you on that. (Have I ever cried for no reason? There was that one time, but maybe it was because I’d...no, actually...hmm. I guess not). I guess not? INFP: Thanks? ENTP: No prob. Chin up, bud, things will get better. (Aw Yeah, ENTP, you nailed it with that last part - I bet I made him feel so much better. Fi users are so silly, and so emo, but all they need is an ENTP to make them see things from a different logical stand point). INFP: (“chin up bud”? Is that supposed to help? These Fe users, I swear to god...)
My social skills as an INFP are even worse than this. I would have just tried to get out of the small talk by going off to the corner and just nodding my head only. XD The crying for no reason though.....sigh, it is a tough emotional world we live in
I’m an INFP dating an ESTJ ... and this is VERY accurate, I get upset so often, cry, can’t explain how I feel and he cant even remember the last time he cried
I gotta give it to the beautiful portrayal of the infp. That feeling of choking they get when someone starts talking about the emotional scars they have.❤️❤️❤️
The INFP is great in settings where he has time to think (writing, for example) but when he has the pressure of someone there waiting for an answer, he gets self-conscious, can't handle the tension and says the wrong thing. He is not fast on his feet and has trouble performing.
But like lowkey sometimes I am sad because I haven't been eating well/taking care of my physical health so he kinda has a point lol. Sometimes I need to remember that i'm not just a blob of emotions
Is nobody talking about forgetting the elevator number though? :D I get so nervous when faced with an unexpected social interaction that I forget the most basic things...
I just hyper focus on the social interaction because if I dont I will do something stupid or say something offensive. And that intense focus makes me lose awareness of my surroundings. I think that's why things like that happen. I think people underestimate how well us infps can understand other's and they think we are just oblivious.

Yes! That's me all the time in social situations, just giving up conversations because some people just don't get what I mean or they are not interested at all
Agree ✋
Basically
It was lowkey INFPs fault tho. He couldn't articulate his thoughts well whatsoever and while ESTJs advice was kinda one sided he had good points that could actually help improve the INFPs life. A well balanced diet with lots of nutritions can work wonders. We are biological creatures after all.
You're right. I'm an INFP myself and sometimes I'm a little fed up with the practical advice people like giving to me unasked. Most of the time I don't even reply anything if I already know that their suggestions wouldn't work for me..
The 'no one understands me , why do human interactions have to be so frustrating' INFP eyeroll was just on point :D
So the whole INFP squad is here crying how relatable this video is xdddd

Oh come on it's not like that.
No it's not anything like that.
Well as an ISFP this is how I feel with most Te doms

What I noticed after watching these videos is that the one who stays in the elevator after the talk and comments on another type is always an introverted person
because otherwise we couldn't hear their inner thoughts
I think a lot of it is because introverts begin to really function when they're alone, like a sudden burst of inspiration and well thought out thoughts

@@Szczurkyy wth

I love my ESTJ friends 🥰
facts tho
Really? Most ESTJ I'm around are really judgemental and demanding. They give you a solution and your force to listen to them and if you don't then you don't have the ability to complain about your problem cause they already "solve it"

The hand gesture of INFP is so perfect 👏🏻 👏🏻
I'm an INTJ and find both of them totally understandable in totally different ways.
How can you relate to both of them?
I'm equally familiar with the INFP's obscure sorrows and the ESTJ's pragmatic approach to them. Probably because their dominant functions are right next to each other in my own function stack and my Fi is sort of strong.
INTJ here as well!
One thing I noticed is that we are half of each 😝 IN(FP) (ES)TJ
One other thing... My mum is INFP-T and my dad is ESTJ-A. They may have an argument because they misunderstand each other, but I literally understand both of them and tell them what's happening in a way they understand 😂
Yep, I thought when I watched this video: "If I was there, I could translate for them."
Indeed. Unconfirmed as my type, but this elevator conversation sounds like me talking to myself almost. I'm definitely more confident giving others _logical_ advice with their problems like the ESTJ here though, and keep the Fi bit to myself to the end of better Te.
“Problems should be fixed, right?” 😂😂😂 Accurate!!
Me and my former ESTJ boss on the way to the office... NAILED it! She definitely thought I was slow and a weirdo who could not put a sentence together, especially at small talk. That was actually painful to watch! :) Great job!
Why can't we bloody talk? Whyyyyyy
"Definitely ESTJ." Hahahaha I would totally say that. I had a friend who was an ENTJ and they're quite similar so I can relate 😂
well, the only difference between ENTJ and ESTJ (in general) is that ESTJ are more pragmatic, and even though ENTJ is considered as a "commander" and everything, he's still a "logical thinker" so might be pretty theoretical

@@CrappleFartini ^^^exactly^^^
Not totally implausible. An ESTJ may see someone in distress and assume it's a physiological issue on some level, or poor mental health. They may recommend a more concrete remedy to the issue, likely something that's been proven, or something they brainstormed from what's been proven.
My husband is ESTJ and he would definitely notice and comment. He notices *everything* and has no reservations on giving advice.
as an INFP, this totally resonated...
my friends always tell me that when they first met me, I show little to no interest engaging in a conversation with them..especially in a group setting and everything is just so sophisticated in my own head when its just..talking to other humans lmao (yes I'm very bad at making small talks with strangers or acquaintances)
and because I'm so self-aware that I looked bad for not engaging, I will try starting a sentence and didn't know where it goes...and ITS JUST SO HARD.
in conclusion, INFP suffer A MAD LOT in social situations so they'd rather not. 😂
So this is what happened
Estj: "Which floor?"
Infp: "Ummm... Ten."
Infp: explains why he's like that and set an example because he felt the judging atmosphere and felt the need to defend himself strongly.
"Have you ever started crying and not knowing why?"
"....No."

The part where INFP forgets the floor number 😅
I laughed so hard at how accurate INFP is in this video. I guess it's because the creator is an INFP, so he knows our struggles. 😂❤️
It depends on the intimation level. Domineering estj is definitely intimidating so that's why this one makes sense
