Ladies, trust me it doesn't lock. You have to know this method should only be used for an extra 1-3 weeks tops!! NOT another 6-8 weeks or longer. And your hair should be washed first, before doing this. I have three daughters and they all wear braids and this helps me out alot.😊

For those who stated the hair will lock it isn’t going to lock. There are no extra steps to taking the hair down. You just take the braids out.

Lawd I refresh mine twice. Not only because I’m a truck driver and can’t always make an appointment but because these thangs are so expensive these days.
Im paying $300 sometimes $400 if they wash blow out and trim. Then some braided get fancy and charge extra because the length of my natural hair. 🤦🏾‍♀️ So 3 months is my average then when I go back home. I get it redone.
I’ve never had a problem with my hair locking up or losing hair with this method and I have thick 4z bra strap hair hair. 🤷🏽‍♀️

They charge me 350 plus I tip and I come wash and blowdried. Damn right I am leaving in at least 3 months. I twist my roots instead of crochet, none the less the method is good.

Just only go one way directional. Like if first one is downward, only go with hook facing down every rotation. That way it definitely won’t lock. It’ll just be like a twist. Hers look 1 month. I had true 2 month old braids and did it how I just explained with at least 3-7 rotations depending on growth. I’m going for 2 more months lol. Blessings to all. 🙏
