We are a couple who once fell in love with mountains and couldn't get back. So we decided to follow our heart and move from a big city to a small village to be able to do what we love and to create this content. Our goal is to promote the healthy lifestyle, to motivate people to travel more and care for nature around. We are passionate walkers who love hiking, trekking and camping. We offer the detailed information of our hikes and routes, including the map and all the directions, so that you can repeat it if you'd like to.
We choose walking over driving and other types of transportation whenever we can because we learnt that this way we see so much more and can explore and feel the place better. Walking is an excellent activity that has so many benefits to your health and requires no special equipment or practice, so we encourage you to get the most out of it and get out walking.
We speak English, Spanish, French and Russian, so don't hesitate to address to us in your native language.

Top tip: if you're going to stealth camp, you need to use equipment which is earth-toned. So green-, tan,- and brown-coloured tents / tarps etc. This will help you blend in and remain hidden. You don't need to camo up and look like a deserter from the army, but it's better to blend into nature than it is to stand out.

Great tip, thank you! Forgot to mention it in the video. That's why we always prefer using the tents in neutral colours like grey, brown and dark green

Thanks, an excellent, clear, useful video. I’m soon starting the Camino Norte and taking a light tent for flexibility and to avoid crowded bunk rooms. Sounds like finding camp spots was a problem. Were there many campsites?

Glad it was helpful! It was a bit problematic, especially due to the season when we hiked, as some of the campgrounds have already closed by the middle of September. But there are quite a few campgrounds on the way and we stayed in them whenever possible. We actually have a list of campgrounds on the Camino published on our blog: walkingnatureworld.com/2021/03/11/the-list-of-campgrounds-campings-to-stay-at-on-camino-de-santiago-del-norte-in-spain/ Best of luck to you! And enjoy your Camino!

In Scotland we can wild camp with the right to roam except for some over used areas HoweverEngland only jas wild camping on Dartmoor and nowhere else.
In Ireland I can vamp in some national parks like Wicklow but other areas no.
So, in the British isles, head for Scotland.

Very valuable info, didn't know that the wild camping is quite restricted in England. Scotland sounds nice!👍🏻

@@WalkingNatureWorldBest time for Scotland is end of April or May. That way you won't get swarmed by midges and the weather can be surprisingly good. There are some great trails - The Cape Wrath trail, West Highland way, East Highland way, The Great Glen Way, The John Muir trail, The Caterans way, The Southern uplands way, The Ayrshire coast walk, The Arran coastal trail, The Borders Abbey trail, The Rob Roy trail, The Fife, The Speyside way, The Fife coastal trail and the Scottish National trail, amongst others.
In England you are best stealth camping unless on the high mountain tops and even there with discretion. Scotland has the right to roam. There are rules though which any responsible wild camper would follow anyway.

We were quite unexperienced back then and didn't know what to expect. Also the camping rules for every country can be confusing
