  • In this video you will learn how to solve ANY quadratic equation, even the ones that cannot be factored, by using the Quadratic Formula. We will review how to write a quadratic equation in standard form so that we can identify what the values of the variables A, B, and C are. We'll then substitute those values into the formula, evaluate, and get our answer(s)!

Some people might think I'm crazy, but I prefer to Complete The Square over the Quadratic Formula. I think CTS looks cleaner and is easier to understand.

Not crazy, that's the beauty of multiple methods to solving any math problem - everyone can do the one that makes sense for them. 🙂. I do like CTS too! Did you know that the Quadratic Formula is derived by completing the square? Thanks for the watch - hit the thumbs up 👍

@@MathMadness Yeah, I did. I used to find CTS really complicated -- until I came across this approach of Equating The Coefficients: ruclips.net/video/6lUFxO-aAMU/видео.html - I think it makes more sense and think more teachers should teach it this way. Tell me what you think.
