I see some folks hating on his previous work, but I grew up listening to SOCO, and Jacks since I was in HS. Now I'm 30 and feeling right on track with his new musical adventure. His progression is amazing and his career has been on point at every stage. He made the music suited to his age and his place in life and all of his work is totally gold. As someone else said, I wish I could discover him all over again, bc he's been there for many many years for many people. You rock Andrew!
heard this song playing in a red lobster restaurant one day...Rushed home to find it on you tube... definitely a cruising song. reminds me of Bruce Hornsby or Don Henley...Beautiful compilation and the bridge is perfect... i'm a fan now!!
If you are new to Andrew McMahon, then I am jealous. I wish I could discover his music all over again. In case you didn't know, Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin are his previous bands, and they're songs are equally as intense! Can't wait for more music from this musical genius.
This is possibly my favorite song by Andrew McMahon. The songwriting is incredible and I love the instrumentation. The song feels eerily reminiscent and really hits home for me. Such a great song and musician!
Been a fan for a long time. So inspired by all the struggles that Andrew McMahon went through and his journey. Love the sound, can't wait to buy the album when it comes out!
Ecuador is present here. This song is sooooooo sweet. When I'm in the car traveling with my brother he plays this song on the stereo, also Konstantine, so then is a good trip.
I really love this amazing song. It's perfect when I have a bad day and after all I arrive to my room and. Every thing change... all it is better when I can listen all the album. I from Mexico City!
It occurs to me Andrew McMahon is the modern-day Bruce Hornsby. It's okay Andy, we've all done bad things like Something Corporate. Your current mission, make more good songs like Cecilia and less like.. well everything else you've done lately.
First off, Something Corporate wasn't "done lately" and was incredibly relevant during their time as a band. Second, listening to Andrew now and disregarding his earlier stuff is ludicrous. That's like saying Fall Out Boy should keep making more songs like Centuries and less like Sugar We're Going Down. Different times call for different songs, but they're all amazing.

A lot of people like Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin.
Every project he has done has always been lit.
