honestly so so worth it, so cheap as it is a one time buy. pain wise: it gets better the more consistent you are with it. for example it took me around an hour with my first time using it on my armpits as it hurt so bad but the second time it was less painful and now i barely feel it. if you see the pain as TOO MUCH PAIN get a wax first then remove the hair after the wax with the epilator, it will be so much easier :))
I used my Satinelle for the first time last night and it was a breeze. 👍 If it gets less painful over time then I'm sure it will become almost pleasurable since it didn't hurt at all for me, haha 😁
I use this instead of getting Brazilian. Damn was painful, but once you get used to it it’s actually better than waxing because it’s less expensive and you have more control on the hair growth (DONT have to wait for a wax and hair grows in have to wait for appointment) so I’m smooth all the time ☺️
I agree! my wax pass at a BIG NAME wax center was 400.00 for 9 waxes. BUT you have to wait for hair to grow out which I HATE and let's be honest...it's super expensive to wax. (even though I love it!) so I epilate and just keeping the skin tight when you do it and sticking to a weekly routine it is easy!
The first time you use it, It will hurt more than waxing but its saves money on razors and waxes. Id say because it hurt so much, just wax your legs once, then use the epilator to maintain them forever. No more wax or razors forever!
I'm a first time user...and it does pain, but it's bearable & it's worth it. About waxing there are multiple side effects like: Skin irritation, hyperpigmentation, sensitive to sun...which is not observed with epilator at all. Plus, it's a one time cost like from 2000-9000bucks, while waxing requires 1000bucks×12months= 12,000/- bucks of investment/year. Also epilators can be used by you at the ease of your home...whenever you want.
It's really painful when u use it at first. But eventually if u continue, the hair will grow thiner and that's the good thing about it. It takes weeks for the hair to grow or a month! But it depends cause everyone has a different body. If u try it u won't regret it u will be happier!😁
I used it once..it hurts as hell I don't want to experience this pain ever again but it is actually good though I'm just not strong enough to get used to it
To experience a less painful epilation, first shave the hair and use the epilator...the next time, try to epilate tiny hairs...third time you will get used to it...
i tried that and god that is much worse it became thicker and waaaay more prickly than i thought it qould turn out to be i recommend not to shave before epilating
My epilator malfunctioned after 2 years. It spoilt immediately on using the double speed. Please avoid using double speed and powder for extra longevity of the product.
I did my whole bikini line, and it was painful/ you have to let the hair grow a bit like stubble(not fun) but the pain and length of the roots was insane. This is no different that plucking with a tweezer, as it’s just lots of tweezers plucking at the same time, and the roots are really pulled out fully, which can cause bleeding and ingrown hairs. The hairs can break if they aren’t long enough, so I wait a week and use the epilator. I wouldn’t use to close the entrance of your garden; a razor is fine for that. The pain is too intense and tbh, laser surgery may be an investment. It’s so time consuming removing all this hair. There are better things to do!
Thanks Jane. How many times have you used it? Is the pain reducijt as you use it? I'm so tired of Brazilian waxing cause of showing someone my garden all the time so I'm interested in the privacy this gives
I can’t stand body hair on my body it annoys me . Wether genitalia, armpits , leg you name it ( aside from the hair on my head and brows ) I love to pluck my hair with tweezer all over so I’m interested in this epilator what’s a good one to buy?

I've had enough hair removal. I want a permanent solution. Epilator no longer hurts but little hairs are impossible to eliminate and much of the time the epilator doesn't leave a smooth finish because it breaks some hair and you have to keep pausing to clean the mouth piece which will clog with the epilated hair.

what is gentle about yanking hair out from the root
I know it doesn't make any sense it's like saying yanking the hair on your head is gentle.
I think it means its more gentle compared to waxing which also pulls your skin. Idk, i dont find hair being plucked as painful so
Don't be a fucking Coward

Try it and find out. Pulling hair with tweezers from the end is obviously less gentle than from the root.

Yeh as the previous reply said to avoid ingrown hair you need to exfoliate one day before epilation and hydrate after
There's no way epilation is gonna be painless especially during the first few sessions. Maybe on the 30th time it'll not be painful anymore.
Electrolysis zapping the cells of the root eliminates hair growth. Epilating doesn’t kill the cells like electrolysis does.
