    Thanks for this information! I had no idea you could see ice caves outside of winter, and I had no idea there is a tour that will allow my 6 year old to participate.

    Enjoyed the video! I will be there late August, did the guide mention anything about the cave tours availability in August. Just worried that all the caves will be unsafe due to the ice melting that late in the summer

    Really enjoyed your clip. It was very concise. You also took time to answer every question which was helpful. I have another personal one:-) I am 77 years old and have to go to the washroom every 1.5 hours on the dot:-) How do you suggest I get around that in the cave situation? Thanks

      Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad the video was helpful to you. As for the restroom situation, I think you should reach out to the company to see what they say. To my knowledge there was not any restrooms near the ice caves but they would know better

    Hey guys, really enjoyed this video. I read some reviewers saying the Katla tour didn't feel safe, with the wood bridges not being steady, etc. Did you feel nervous at all about safety? Thx!

    • @ChewsToExplore
      @ChewsToExplore  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you so much for the support to our channel. it was very safe for us. They go out and check the caves 2x a day to ensure we go. This is the case for Katla track which we used for this trip. For others I cannot say for sure

    Hi, amazing video!
    I have a question: is it slippery there (even with crampons)? And are the terrains difficult (especially when going down)?
    I really want to go there but I'm worried I'll slip and fall at some point because I'm clumsy sometimes and have bad gross motor.

    • @ChewsToExplore
      @ChewsToExplore  6 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The terrains were not slipery, but with proper gear and caution, you can definitely navigate them safely.
