Marble Cake with Gold Leaf | How to make Marbled Fondant Cake

- Hi and welcome back to my kitchen. This week I'm showing you step by step how to add a marbled fondant panel around your cake with a ripped or torn edge, finished off with gold edible paint. These fondant / sugarpaste wraps look so pretty to add additional colour onto your cake and look so delicate on the side of a birthday cake. Rip the edge or use a ball tool to ruffle the edge to create different effects.

Will the fondant become sticky after placing it in the fridge?

Did you allow the fondant dry before covering it?
No, I used it after about fifteen minutes, it depends on how soft your fondant is, if it's too soft, rest longer.
Does normal oil work too? Like canola?
