From the yt channel by Darling Desi I took the recommendation of Flowerheart by Cate Bakewell, I am halfway in and enjoying it very much. Desi described it as giving Studio Ghibli as well as Pride and Prejudice vibes and I agree. Also, my constant staple for spring, especially as an audiobook is The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue (historical YA fantasy)

I started Persuasion but its my first Jane Austen I didnt finish. I really want to finish it so will definitely pick it up again.
For my spring recommendation I would say Anne of green gables. Its such a beautiful and wholesome book..
Its Autumn now here in South Africa. Enjoy the Spring and your books.
I found the second half of Persuasion a lot more enjoyable than the first, so would definitely recommend giving it another go!
Anne of Green Gables is such a special story and I completely agree that it is perfect for spring time 🌸
