  • Welcome to Friday Night Firsts, the series where I search the internet for acrylic pouring techniques I have never done before and do them with no practice. In this episode, I’m acrylic pouring using a Pendulum Swing by Folk Art. Watch me as I attempt this for the first time and see how it turns out. Will I succeed or fail?
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more Friday Night Firsts. Also, don’t forget to check out these great artist's channels for more amazing acrylic pouring videos. Thank you for watching and I’ll see you in the next one!

I have this kit and I love. It's great that Folk Art Drizzle jumped on the idea after watching the guy spinning 5 gallons of paint from his ceiling. Thanks for the video.

This was so much fun to watch Michael!! Now I really want to give it a try. I didn't know you could buy one haha, I always thought you had to just make one with a paint can. Thanks for sharing. Loved the series!!

I just saw this as I was scrolling, and my curiosity was piqued. What a tremendously fun experiment! I've shared your video with some of my artist friends, too. Thank you for sharing this! 😊

OK I absolutely love this one. I always watched the ones with the big pendulum and like 5 gallons of paint. And said that would be soooo fun. You did awesome. Love that 3d effect it gives. Way to go my friend. Loved it. ❤❤❤❤ Happy New Year. 😊

I didn’t know you could buy a setup like this - adding it my list, lol. I see what you mean about knowing where to stop it, but this was a great video to see what you got the first few times.

Yeah at least we all know what to expect now with this set. I does come with slotted cups and the cup height is adjustable….. bigger canvas would work better also. It’s not to bad …. It’s $40 but I think I used a 30% thing.

I want one of these pendulums now (naturally out of stock in our local Michaels). I guess it works better using a bigger canvas and knowing when to stop it. Perhaps having multiple holes in the cup would work well too. Thanks Michael. I, for one, will miss the Friday night firsts, even if I don't watch until Saturday lol.
