Watch motley crues performance at this same show. I bet you'll change your mind. I was at this show and motley crue headlined it but Alice Cooper stole the show.
Motley Crue opened for Alice in the beginning and Alice is returning the favour in the end. They have both been mutual admirers throughout their careers and this is the perfect way to end one classic bands career. Thank you Motley Crue and thank you as always Alice Cooper (I don't ever want to see your final concert)
And he would have put on an even better show if he was headlining. There was little room for his usual dancers cum actors and no time to put on a proper performance. He was performing hits normally performed in the second half of his show. It was surreal seeing James Brown support the Red Hot Chili Peppers on their Greatest Hits Tour in 2004 but James Brown was very self indulgent spinning out his hits and went over time.
I wish someone would upload the whole show they did in Houston. Vince kept the crowd going like you wouldn't believe. Nikki Sixx had just as much energy in 2014 as he did in 1984.
PBHunt1020 Saw the concert here in Sydney last week. Agree with you 100%. Alice Cooper was sensational & Motley Crue were very average. Alice showed them up big time & he was better received by the audience then what Crue were. Motley Crue should have toured with a lesser known act instead of trying to mix it with a Legend.
Alice is one of the few legendary greats who hasn't lost his touch at all over the years. Granted, he can;t move like he used to, but hey, if that's the only thing he loses with age, I have no room for complaints
Thanks for posting!! My wife and I attended and now we can watch some of what we missed, and is just flat out bad ass to be able to watch a show you were actually at. Plus we had field seats, this view is much better. Thank you again, you're act of badassery makes the rock gods smile. Carry on
1. Ho Hooray (0:24) 2. No More Mr. Nice Guy (1:55) 3. Under My Wheels (5:09) 4. I'm Eighteen (8:07) 5. Billion Dollar Babies (12:05) 6. Poison (15:53) 7. Dirty Diamonds (20:56) 8. I still can't believe ALICE COOPER THE GREATEST opened for Motley !. You can see Alice is so kind so humble for open for other band . Who did decide that this show be like this ?. ALICE COOPER RULES !!!
I ran into a group of people who went to this concert . They came to see Motley Crew and left Alice Cooper fans . 10 years after this so-called final concert and Alice is still going strong, 56 years and counting. 👍
Had the pleasure of doing security on friday (13.11)and had the pleasure of watching the grand master from the side of the stage.alice and band absolutely fantastic, not to mention great people!that's one strike off my bucket list, will never forget it!
I agree so wholeheartedly. DISGUSTING that Alice was the opener. Crue can't shine his shoes...just LISTEN to his albums and lyrics. The man is the most underrated rock star of all time. Sad on some level...thanks for the share Dennis.
There is no way Motley Crue can top this. I see the uploader has their show as well and I will watch it later. Some bands degrade with time and some are really timeless. This video proves Alice Cooper is in the latter. Fucking Awesome!!!
Agree, saw Alice last night in the Detroit, his voice was strong and his band was a smokin'! Motley was pretty sorry and it's time for them to hang it up.
wow, great show, thanks for posting. it brings back old memories, I 1st saw them the summer after graduating high school. 1972, School's Out had just been released................great time to be alive, great music everywhere.
Before this, I had only seen Nita on the Iron Maidens and, quite frankly, i thought "this is just another bimbo taking advantage of her looks to make money playing guitar". Seeing her now makes me realize what a chauvinistic clueless bastard i was: not only she's a shredding machine but she actually owns the fucking stage like the real pros, and you can see she's having a lot of fun. Reminded me of Slash stage performances when Gn'Rs. Sorry, Nita, i'm totally in love with you now!
They just came through Dallas and I got a last minute notice from a friend who had backstage passes for AC. Which really unmade my day. I would have loved to have been able to just see the concert. Didn't even know they were coming! My notifications from Ticketmaster concert calendar probably put Motley up front, which I would dismiss, Alice..would never.
I was there lol my very first concert my mom was a huge fan so was I cause of her playing his music around me when I was a baby I actually talked to him lol he gave me his towel best concert ever c.c did so well on the guitar
I got introduced to Alice when I saw an advertisement for The Muppet Show and saw a clip of him performing "School's Out". After watching the Halloween episode with him in it, I've been a fan of his music ever since. :)
People who say Alice shouldn't be opening need to remember, motley crue can sell tickets for venues with 15000-20000 ppl and Alice Cooper can sell tickets for 3000-5000 seat venues
+Mario Keith I totally agree with you and have 100% respect for Alice. Just stating that at this time in both of these bands careers that Mötley Crüe is the bigger draw.
+Mario Keith so do I. I'm probably one of the biggest Mötley Crüe fans ever, but will never get how Alice isn't selling out big arenas on his own. He puts on such a great show and doesn't get enough credit!!
Alice is freakin' awesome, he's playing in my town in 3 days, so many great tunes, gotta hook up some tickets!!! (Almost sold out!) Always had great guitarists, still does. What a show, thanks for posting!
Cooper had a great band years ago named White Witch. The rumor was that they were soooooo good that AC fired them because they took away from HIS show. I have caught them on You Tube, and they were definitely smoking hot.
All bow to the great one. I saw the show in Birmingham, AL and I still convinced that Alice was the show to see. Crue was good, but Alice was great. I am searching for more dates to see Alice. I am content that I saw the final Crue tour. but Alice.....sign me up for any date I can get to. the Master at work.
Opening for Motley Crue?...I like the Crue but it really should have been the other way around. Maybe it was just that ole alice was giving them the privilege of him opening for them. But why 3 guitarists?
Well, at least I learned how they do FrankenCooper's voice. If you pay attention to the bassist while FrankenCooper's running around singing, it's actually the bass player. You can see him singing every word for the puppet right down to the screams. I always thought it was some dude behind a curtain pulling a Wizard of Oz, or something, so that's actually pretty interesting to earn. It's like learning a magician's tricks.
Great show. I agree it is sad that the Crue gets more props these days. My departed was younger and she loved both. I buried her to the Congregation off of Nightmare 2. Sad we could not share the show together. Cancer is a bitch and strokes after that are worse.
All you guys that are bitching about Alice opening for Motley... Are you kidding? WHO WOULDN'T want to open for Motley's last tour??? Yeah, Alice has been around longer, and he's also an influence to Motley, but c'mon, it's Motley's last tour. Of course Alice said YES!!! I'm a huge fan of both bands and think both groups made a great decision (and yeah, now I'll wait for the insults....)
For those who say Motley Crue should be opening for Alice, I ask you, Then why the hell would Crue announce their Final Tour? It is what it is so deal with it.
… or you could look at it and see that they're taking one of their musical heroes out on the road with them for their farewell tour, which will guarantee they get huge crowds at all the shows. Motley have never denied Alice is a major influence on them, and this is a great pairing which will boost audience attendance for both acts, but also gives the fans a MASSIVE show to go to. Stop thinking of Alice as an opening act, start seeing this as a double headline show, and make the most of seeing 2 great bands, who have influenced 100's of others and provided some incredible music for their fans. And then if you still want to piss and moan, show us all, your extensive back catalogue of material and then maybe you'll be a credible commentator on what's happening.
I'm guessing that Alice is opening because everybody was listening to Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home" or maybe coz he needed to return a favor, or maybe it was coz Alice is older and he knew he would be tired of it earlier, but honestly: I dunno. Maybe I woulda came to Virginia Beach to see that show - if the price was right, and I had the time, etc. I really wasn't aware that it was possible then. Anywayz: I'm just letting the official AC page know that I am now following them. Going to Alabama to see Alice do Foxy Lady in the old CSA capitol. Had to take GUTS... see yaz d:)
42:42 Stan: Oh my god! They killed Alice Cooper! Kyle: You Bastards!! (Admin: To tell the truth. There was a feeling inside of me thinking that it was real when that happened 0-0)
Where was this? My first thought was that it was at the Norwegian Lady, but it's too big to be on the oceanfront. I lived in Va-Beach about 25 years ago and played at the Norwegian Lady.
Motley Crue should be opening for Alice. Alice is a livinig legend.
+Hawk2571 It's surprising that the Crue is touring; with Mick Mars' condition being what it is.
+Hawk2571 Try Rolling Stones opening for Alice. There's a concept nobody thought about.
Alice coops
Hawk2571 he opened up for KISS once.
I think Motley Crue should be opening for Alice Cooper!
Of all the bands from the 80s ,Motley Crue is my favorite .
That awkward moment when you realize your opening act sounds better and puts on a better show than your band.
PB not in TX. Alice Cooper put on a great show but MC ruled the night with Shout at the Devil. Oh that flaming pentagram was awesome.
Everett what city were you in? They kicked ass at the Woodlands Pavilion big time!!!
I wish someone would upload the whole show they did in Houston. Vince kept the crowd going like you wouldn't believe. Nikki Sixx had just as much energy in 2014 as he did in 1984.

Alice is to Motley as Ferrari is to Yugo.
Alice is the KIng of Rock...
Alice was a legend when I was a baby. I was born in 73. He's the grand master of happiness !!!!! Thank you Alice!!!
Alice is one of the few legendary greats who hasn't lost his touch at all over the years. Granted, he can;t move like he used to, but hey, if that's the only thing he loses with age, I have no room for complaints
Alice Cooper opening for Motley Crew??? Sorry for you fans , but there's no way José ...Alice is a legend and should be the headliner!!
Thanks for posting!! My wife and I attended and now we can watch some of what we missed, and is just flat out bad ass to be able to watch a show you were actually at. Plus we had field seats, this view is much better. Thank you again, you're act of badassery makes the rock gods smile. Carry on

Damn your camera is awesome..thanks so much for filming the whole thing :)
I was at the concert in Green Bay this week. Alice was great!! Good as ever! Motley Crew was a terrible let down after seeing Cooper!!
I've probably listened to this thing from start to finish at least 10 times since I found it here on RUclips.
Thanks.
Say what you want... But the old mans STILL GOT IT!!
I still can't believe ALICE COOPER THE GREATEST opened for Motley !.
You can see Alice is so kind so humble for open for other band .
Who did decide that this show be like this ?.
ALICE COOPER RULES !!!
I have seen both Motley Crue and Alice Cooper more then once..... Alice is much better in every way!
I ran into a group of people who went to this concert . They came to see Motley Crew and left Alice Cooper fans . 10 years after this so-called final concert and Alice is still going strong, 56 years and counting. 👍
Alice Rules! An American Classic!

I'm not sure I would have even bothered to stick around to watch Motley Crue.
Before this, I had only seen Nita on the Iron Maidens and, quite frankly, i thought "this is just another bimbo taking advantage of her looks to make money playing guitar". glad we found this
thank you Alice

That quick pan to the drummer twirling his drumstick was pretty cool near the Poison.
"I'm not Johnny Depp"........ that's classic. :)
Where please ? 😂😱
Nita has come a long way since her early days with the Maidens, great skill, total confidence.
+23jefjef I thought it was Orianthe!
+Qrayon It had been, but not now. I think she is touring with her solo stuff right now.
+Qrayon She is touring with Richie Sambora right now.
Dylan C
Orianthe is?
The woman who played with Alice before the current girl guitarist.
alice cooper en zijn band
zijn al jaren steen goed
heerlijk om hun te horen
thanks, for this great video!
Crossed Alice off my bucket list after this concert was filmed ( in Macon,Ga.) Loudest concert I ever heard, he's still got it
People who say Alice shouldn't be opening need to remember, motley crue can sell tickets for venues with 15000-20000 ppl and Alice Cooper can sell tickets for 3000-5000 seat venues
+Russell Clark you are so wrong if it isn't wasn't for Alice there'd be no Crue!
+Mario Keith I totally agree with you and have 100% respect for Alice. Just stating that at this time in both of these bands careers that Mötley Crüe is the bigger draw.
I respect your comment, i like both artists.
+Mario Keith so do I. I'm probably one of the biggest Mötley Crüe fans ever, but will never get how Alice isn't selling out big arenas on his own. He puts on such a great show and doesn't get enough credit!!
+Russell Clark Right? I bought AC tickets last night, and I looked up the venue capacity. It was only 1800. What?! That should be more like 18,000.
my first concert alice in1973
Great upload brutha of good music. Alice is a legend. Wish that tour would have been the turned around, and the Crue opening for the master.
Alice is freakin' awesome, he's playing in my town in 3 days, so many great tunes, gotta hook up some tickets!!! (Almost sold out!) Always had great guitarists, still does. What a show, thanks for posting!
Excellent post,Cheers
Cooper had a great band years ago named White Witch. The rumor was that they were soooooo good that AC fired them because they took away from HIS show. I have caught them on You Tube, and they were definitely smoking hot.
Of course this is the natural song to open with!
oh I forgot,thanks for posting.
All bow to the great one. I saw the show in Birmingham, AL and I still convinced that Alice was the show to see. Crue was good, but Alice was great. I am searching for more dates to see Alice. I am content that I saw the final Crue tour. but Alice.....sign me up for any date I can get to. the Master at work.
if alice tours near me againid totally see it when they came to massachusetts i neede tickets, they were my first concert!
I'm going to see Alice open for Motley Crue TONIGHT! Screw the Crue (except for Nikki Sixx); I gotta have an ALICE fix!
Opening for Motley Crue?...I like the Crue but it really should have been the other way around.
Maybe it was just that ole alice was giving them the privilege of him opening for them.
But why 3 guitarists?
Totally agree!
It's Mötley Crüe's Final Tour jackass.
So, that was their Jax Claudin tour?
the 3rd one is the learner
Would it have made for a better show if the Crüe just got Papa Roach or Buckcherry instead of the master?
America has gone mad ALICE COOPER headliner ....respect the great glam grandfather from Russia!
Wayne T Yes....Long Live Rock n Roll and Hockey....!!!!!
And Tim Hortons
wow! Classic Alice. Mychristina Music Family
that was on my birthday!
*WONDERFUL* !!!
Virginia Beach- That would be 100 per/cent *COOL* !!
SeaBassVamp *P o i s o n*
I wonder if anyone stayed for Motley Crue? I can't imagine why.
I wondered why Alice was opening for them but Alice is 100% genuine dude loved him almost all my life still the king of rock for me
Great job, thank you
Good job on recording. No distortion in sound,
GREAT show!!!
WE'RE NOT WORTHY !!!!!
iI HAVE TO say thanx, Man! dig it
i'm only here to that sweet blondie ! as for alice opening for the crew , we old farts know when to say when when it comes to talent !
Well, at least I learned how they do FrankenCooper's voice. If you pay attention to the bassist while FrankenCooper's running around singing, it's actually the bass player. ALICE ZIPPER CATCHES FAV. GREW UP ON THE CRUE AND THE COOP - SAW FINAL TOUR TAMPA FL. AUG :hot as crap!
Always a great show!
Great show. I agree it is sad that the Crue gets more props these days. My departed was younger and she loved both. I buried her to the Congregation off of Nightmare 2.
Sad we could not share the show together. Cancer is a bitch and strokes after that are worse.
Damn cool.....Crue should have opened for him.

Coop still delivers a wicked bite!
LEGEND
2:00 - Nigel Tufnel on guitar!
I'd have had the camera on Nita the whole set.
For those who say Motley Crue should be opening for Alice, I ask you, Then why the hell would Crue announce their Final Tour? It is what it is so deal with it.

i was there! :D
I wish he had Nita Strauss AND Orianthi in his band at the same time.
there is nothing hotter than a girl hat plays rock music in a guitar with leather pants
this is fantastic but I wonder how Alice feel performing these songs with people who weren't alive when he wrote the songs
I'm guessing that Alice is opening because everybody was listening to Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home" or maybe coz he needed to return a favor, or maybe it was coz Alice is older and he knew he would be tired of it earlier, but honestly: I dunno.

Going to Alabama to see Alice do Foxy Lady in the old CSA capitol.
Had to take GUTS... see yaz d:)
very cool
There needs to be more females in metal that play like Nita...kudos to Alice for getting her!!! And yeah, Alice Cooper isn't a back up band!!!
Ótimo show, peca muito no figurino e arte. Ex: a cabeça cortada o penteado é diferente do Alice, há dezenas de falha, sem contra-regra é foda.
Dat vibrato tho. 6:30 Reminiscent of: Saxon - Princess Of The Night.
wonder why he puts out new albums but performing mostly old stuff
YAY NITA!!!!!
stnwrd did Nikki Sixx join him for a song?
42:42
Stan: Oh my god! They killed Alice Cooper!
Kyle: You Bastards!!
(Admin: To tell the truth. There was a feeling inside of me thinking that it was real when that happened 0-0)
Alice should have closed the show for the hair band Motley Crap.
Элис СУПЕР!
Looked for a set list, but none on the entire thread.
for sure its different now but they had their time fuck yes
i wonder if today a band could make halo of flies
Where was this? My first thought was that it was at the Norwegian Lady, but it's too big to be on the oceanfront. I lived in Va-Beach about 25 years ago and played at the Norwegian Lady.
is alices female guitairist, from the iron maidens, tribute band ?
23 people need to get their eyes and ears checked. Al Cooper is better then ever. I can't wait to see him in July. The crue... Not so much.
And yes that is a SARS condom on my mike doing Smoke on the Water! A few years back at Korean Karaoke bar.
I love ALICE but never got into daylight concerts , a lot of the mystic of the night is missing
same
Same here Night Concerts are better and make the show more cooler and so much bad ass. I'm with you on this one bro.
Cooper never spared any expense. How did he wrap up the chick on the guitar?
Like Hawk was saying ..I would hate to follow that especially the way they nailed 18 into Billion Dollar Babies.
Way bitchin' fun to watch
What will you be doing in your golden years ?
Motley WHO!!!
um....hey alice is opening as a favor because of Motleys last tour and the fact that Alice gave them an opening slot when they were beginning....
